Review: I was sold a Jeep in as is condition. But it "allegedly" passed inspection. Well, theres no way. The brake lines were rotted through. This is a clear fail for a New York State inspection. The brake lines blew out on me within 200 miles of leaving their parking lot. I brought the vehicle to an ASE certified automotive technician and was told my car should've never passed inspection with rotted brake lines. Or the rotten falling apart shocks that are on the car. An inspection is supposed to mean the car is safe n legal for travel on roads. Well I avoided hitting anyone or anything when my brakes went but their inspection license should be revoked. They're putting false inspection on cars so they can sell them. Then when I contacted them for repair which I was willing to pay for I was brushed off and ignored. I've missed a week of work waiting for them. Now I've been to a mechanic and he won't release my car until its safe and legal for travel. In addition to Rooney loosing his inspector license they should pay for my brake repairs and suspension repairs. Things that should've been done to legally pass inspection. Thank you very much. Please contact me to discuss this matter more fully.Desired Settlement: Rooney looses inspection license and pays for the repairs I'm making to make the car legal. Which it was supposed to be when I purchased it.

Review: The dealership was supposed to fix a problem with the engine before it was purchased. At the time of the purchase they stated there was no issue with the vehicle and the noise it was making was normal. The dealership was also supposed to put a better set of tires on the truck; which they did. The truck was picked up Thursday morning on 01/**/14 and on Sunday morning 01/**/14 a major part of the truck broke leaving the truck un-drivable. The truck was looked at Monday morning by Monroe Muffler in Kingston New York where myself and my fiance were advised that one of the main power steering line broke. They also advised us that the noise we were hearing was not normal and that the vehicle should not be driven until the issue was fixed. After further inspection of the vehicle we were advised that the brakes, roaders, and calipers in the front end of the vehicle were in very poor condition and should be replaced as soon as possible. When we contacted the dealership they said they were only going to pay a very small percentage of the repair bill because " it should have been brought to them". When we advised the dealership that the vehicle was un- drivable and would have had to been towed to their location they said we would have been responsible for the tow bill as well. Currently they are still unwilling to pay for the repairs to the vehicle.Desired Settlement: We would like for the repairs of the vehicle to be made and all charges to be covered by the dealership. We would like for the dealership to admit fault and knowledge of the issues prior to the sale of the vehicle.
