Thank you for taking the time and bringing this client’s complaint to our attention, we truly appreciate the opportunity to respond. Our firm takes pride in our high customer satisfaction and service standards, and our team members have and will continue to work diligently and zealously to ensure that we do not have a single unsatisfied client. We are disappointed to hear that the above referenced client is unsatisfied with our work on her file. We have and will continue to work hard to resolve the issue at hand with Client ID [redacted], (Client), in order to ensure that Client is aware of the tremendous efforts our firm has made to assist her.
 
Currently we are preparing a detailed package for Client’s own review and assessment, to be sent out to her shortly, of our continual efforts during the past 9 months on her file. This package includes the detailed activity notes on her file including communication with her Lender, and a copy of the numerous Loss Mitigation packages submitted to the Lender on her behalf. Clients file with the Lender is currently in the appeal process and we were waiting for a response from the Lender before Client requested for the termination of our services.
 
As referenced by Client, on 1/4/16, we were told by a representative of the Client’s Lender that Client has been approved for a trial modification on her property. Within the next day on 1/5/16, we contacted Client’s Lender, to confirm the information provided to us by the Lender’s agent, and we were told by another agent of the Lender, that the previous agent had mistakenly given us this information and they apologized for the miscommunication. We notified the Client of all this information provided to us by the Lender, since here at our firm it is our common practice to inform our Client’s of all the details on their file. Although, this matter was very frustrating to Client, this was out of our control and it was caused by the inadvertent negligence of the Lender’s agent.

Where do I begin!!!! Roosevelt law center is an awesome organization to work with!!!! I was trying to get a modification on my home loan and it felt like a never ending process. When they offered to help me I was feeling like , "ok here is another scam". But it was completely different. They stepped in helped me to force the bank to provide a proper modified loan. On my own it was...we didnt get this paperwork or that information. Yeah right? When I went thru roosevelt, that was a no..no. you have a representative whoes on your side!! Thank you roosevelt law center!!!! And I can never thank u enough ??

They had an intake process and during this time, the housing counselor stated that the worst case scenario would be that my payments would remain the same. Per Craig's words, I withheld information that is untrue. I gave and told them everything they needed to know and even info that is protected by HIPPA. Additionally, I asked for documentation weeks ago so the packet they are referencing is taken an extra long time to get to me. This agency was very deceitful and continues to be.

The client is communicating with us and in the last phone conference with our staff she was very cordial and positive. However my department will continue to monitor this matter to ensure the client is given even extra attention and motivation to send all the documentation required.

Provided with-in this letter is the latest correspondence we have had with the consumer and our processing staff, discussing the needed documents to be sent in. I request you review the email correspondence and see the team-work and understanding between the consumer and my staff.  I have also reached out to this client to ensure all her concerns are addressed. Please see the brief synopsis below for Case ID# [redacted]:The client first contacted our firm in request for assistance in acquiring a resolution with [redacted]. Similar to other homeowners, they had been unsuccessful in receiving assistance from WF and required legal assistance. Our law firm conducted numerous conference calls between the client, our review department and the client’s mortgage company to ensure eligibility for a resolution. Our law firm’s compliance department reviewed and accepted the client’s case as eligible for assistance, we confirmed with our counsel in the state of the consumer that they were in fact eligible for assistance, and once approved by both departments we enrolled the client. Our law firm has conducted itself ethically and provided constant updates to the client and the mortgage company.It is important that as the compliance manager I assure you that customer service is of the upmost importance to me. Since Ms. [redacted] had an issue with a member of our processing staff not providing her with the upmost cordial tone on a phone call, I have effectively since the receipt of this letter from the Revdex.com started an investigation into this matter, and will punish by termination of employment, any employee or staff member of the law firm that we discover broke our strict code of cordial conduct. I assure you this will be fully investigated and resolved. It is however important and relevant to also state that our firm has had difficulty in receiving all the requested documentation from the client. We understand the busy schedule of all consumers, thus we have continued to communicate with Mr. [redacted] about the importance of getting requested documentation in a timely manner. It is also important I clarify that at the start of each and every case, we notify all clients enrolled that it is imperative that our firm is notified of any and all new plans to acquire loans (car loans, personal loans, payday loans, etc). Such acquisitions have obvious effects on the eligibility and qualification for mortgage assistance. Our firm was not aware of Ms. [redacted] newly acquired car loan until she notified our staff. Never the less our review department is working around this issue to resolve the matter and continue the review of the file with [redacted].  In fact 2 days after the date of the letter from the Revdex.com, our processing staff was in communication with the client, (who was very cordial and satisfied with the law firm’s work) and again requested new updated documentation. Our Law firm communicated with [redacted] and the consumer on a weekly basis, to ensure this client is provided not only the best service possible, however also a resolution in a timely manner. In the complaint, the client stated that our law firm was “NOTHING more than a mediator between me and my lender”. Our firm has performed conference calls between the client and [redacted], and also submitted all required documentation and applications as soon as they have been completed and received by the homeowner. Our firm only represents the clients in this matter with [redacted], and do not represent them in any other level or form. Our Firm prides itself in our customer service, customer satisfaction, review process, and compliance; and it is of utmost importance to us that our clients are satisfied with the work and services we provide for them. The above-mentioned Client first contacted our firm in April, of 2015. Our review department exhausted all considerable solutions before accepting the case. Our firm was forced to close out the case recently due to Client’s own decision to short sale the at issue property. Our staff members worked attentively and diligently, interacting with the Lender and the Client to deliver the best result possible. It is important to state that this complaint from Client is a result of Client’s own repeated inability to send the necessary, and time-sensitive documents, to our firm per our requests. Our staff requested important income and tax documentation over a dozen times from the client, however these documents were promised to be provided yet never delivered resulting in delay of submission to the Lender and delaying the entire process. Despite the fact that Client continually failed to deliver necessary documents, to our firm or the lender, our team members worked hard to communicate these issues to both Client and Lender. Our records will further indicate that Client’s Loan-Mod File was submitted to the Lender by our firm four times, once in May, another in June, in July and a resubmission was in process sent on August 23rd, before Client decided to short Sale her property. Client indicated to us in her final record phone call, that she decided to short sale the property due to “getting tired of the Lender.” Our firm worked very hard to bring fort the best results possible, and the Lender at all times was open to negotiations with our firm, however due to the short sale there was nothing else our Firm was able to do. Also, despite clients claim our law firm has never advertised in print or local newspapers at Laurel, MD. The Firms Compliance department has reached out to Client to ensure all of her concerns are addressed, however, we have not yet to hear back. Roosevelt law centers decided to terminate. I paid them $1,250 on 2/3/16 a couple of weeks after Mr. [redacted] requested 2 more payments of $1,250 and I asked him several times if we would still be at risk of losing the home and he assured me that we had been excepted in the program. I agrreed to make the first payment on 2/3/16. Then a week later [redacted] called and said the lender denied the modification and once Roosevelt Law center recieved the denial letter they would appeal it. Then a couple days later [redacted] called back and said the lender is refusing to review anything else and my only other option would be to file chapter 13. I have emails that show and stated differently than Rooselvelt law centers response. I will gladly provide Revdex.com with copies of those emails. I also have letter from the lender stating that Rooselvelt law center informed them that they were no longer representing me. I also have an email that [redacted] sent me with an referred bankruptcy attorney that's near me and she sent me the document to request a refund. I have called [redacted] and [redacted] and left several messages in regards to my refund and they haven't called me back. Mr. [redacted] sent me an email stating they had left m several messages which wasn't truthful. I responded to Mr. [redacted]'s email and informed him that it wasn't true about his office trying to contact me. Because my cellphone records show that I had been calling Mr.[redacted]s office everyday several times a day. But my cellphone records don't show any calls from Roosevelt law center in the time frame in which Mr. [redacted] stated his office had called me.
Mr. [redacted] then sent me another stated that he would be glad to help me and asked that I call hm directly. Well I called Mr. [redacted] on several occasions and left messages and he never returned any of my phone calls. Once again I didn't decided to terminate Rooselvelt law centers services. All I want is my $1,250 back that Mr. [redacted] requested after misleading me to think we had been excepted  in the program and didn't have to worry about foreclosure. I can print the emails, cellphone records and seen them to Revdex.com along with a copy of the refund request form that [redacted] emailed me and proof of when I faxed it to Rooselvelt law center. Roosevelt law center is a HUGE SCAM....

I had to seek a Law Firm for a forecloser issue. I choose Roosevelt Law Center to help me get back on track with my morgage holder and I am now in good standing with my morgage. Roosevelt Law Center was there for me day or night if I had any questions or concerns. William K was fantastic in answering my questions and at times we did a 3 way call to the Morgage Company. This Law Firm is professional and was so helpful in saving my home. I would recommend this Law Firm to ANYONE who is in a financial crisis with there home as I was.

Everyone that we worked with at the law firm was very helpful and always let us know how the process was going. We were a month behind when we contacted this law firm. The lender was the issue as they kept changing the contact person on our loan. Once it was sold to a different lender it only took about a month to complete the process. Over all the service was great.

We had a very positive experience with Roosevelt Law Firm. Like with all company's, in the beginning, we were very apprehensive. However; the professionalism we received from our representative, Mr William K, was outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking help with their modification.

It is important to note that our team members stress to every potential client the importance of providing us with truthful and honest information, and to not withhold or misinform our firm in regards to matters relating to their cases. In fact every client signs and initials an agreement with our firm to provide us with truthful and correct information. Due to this past default on a modification, the Lender would not accept our repeated efforts and attempts to resolve the matter. The lender provided our firm with exact dates and tracking shipment details in regards to the offer and delivery of the modification to the client in January of 2014. This evidence was provided by the lender after our staff had put in months of hard work and effort in order to resolve this case for Client. Despite the fact that Client has breached the terms of their agreement with us, we have continually spoken to Client in order to honor their requests and reach a favorable settlement to all parties, and will continue to do so.
