Some people in this world are not human beings, Ken is one of them. I called him for the bathroom problem, charged me $415. I paid immediately with credit card. The problem was not fixed and I kept calling him but he never replied my phone. Shame on him, because whatever he fixed I have to call other plumbers now and I know I cannot afford that price. I am surprised that [redacted] still advertise his plumbing ad.

Review: I had a contract with Ken the owner of rooter express. He was supposed to start work on my bathroom. He drew up a contract and told me it would only take him a few days. He also required half or the among down. Ken started the job 6-14-2016. He was late to start the job. He only came for part of the day. He has not come back since, it has been 3 months. I call and texted him numerous times inquiring when he would return, but every time he said he would be back, he would not be back. I requested a refund, so I can have someone actually come and do the work. He only refunded $500. He claims he has don't the remained in work. There has not been any debris removed from the area, all the drains are not hooked up. I want a full refund.Desired Settlement: Refund or my payment $1100.

Review: After being hired by the previous homeowner of my house, he was paid in full for a job that he did not finish. He contracted out the whole job and for the portion that he did complete, the contractors that he hired complained that he did a bad (unsafe!) job of digging a hole in our front yard to get to the pipes that needed to be repaired. He only responds to customers when they threaten to sue him (as evidenced by my home's previous owner) and he has only responded to my phone calls when I pretend to be a new customer or when I told him that I was planning to contact the attorney general.

He raised his voice and told me to never contact him again after saying that I was going to contact the attorney general (I did). And he further said that it doesn't matter that he was paid because it was not by me. Then finally he said that my sidewalk (that people trip over daily) does not matter as much as someone else's toilet not flushing. He was paid for the work and will probably never return to finish it because "he has a grand kid on the way and has other personal things going on."Desired Settlement: Fix the concrete or pay another company to complete the job.

Review: This plumber has not completed the job he was hired to do, for which he has already been paid. He had to replace sewage piping in the garage and cement driveway. He completed the piping in the garage. The driveway piping has been completed and inspected but there are still 1 to 2 ft. wide trenches dug in our driveway that have not been covered. Three-quarters of the driveway is filled with piles of dirt, gravel, large chunks of cement, and old pipes. He has not shown up to cover the trenches with gravel and dirt, remove the excess, or cut down the 4 foot high pipes sticking out from the trenches. My son-in-law and I have called him multiple times for weeks now. Several times he said he would show up but never did. Now he does not return phone calls.Desired Settlement: To finish the job for which has been paid.

Review: On July 2, 2014, we hired Mr. [redacted] of Rooter Express Plumbing & Drain Services to repair a downspout drain line in our front yard. After fixing the pipe and filling the whole in our yard, Mr. [redacted] was to spread topsoil. However, due to the number of rocks and clay dug up at the time, it was determined we needed an experienced landscaper which Mr. [redacted] agreed. He then agreed to refund us for the cost of the top soil he was going to purchase. We have contacted him at least 8 times. When we could reach him, he told us he had a personal issue but he would write the check then mail it to us. As of today, October 5, we have not received the refund.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for the cost of topsoil, the delivery of topsoil and his time it would have taken to lay down the topsoil.
