Rosato's Pizza

On June 12, 2015 a relative and I visited the establishment. We ate there paid our bill and left. On June 15, 2015 we did the same. As we were walking out the door a man approached us and ask how was the service? We said okay, he preceded to say if the service was not bad we should have left a tip and that we did not leave a tip the last time we were there. Which as he got louder told us do not come back to the place again. We continued walking he kept talking louder and louder outside. He told us his waitress work for tips and so on and so on. We continued walking he continued, hollering MA'AM as if we were going to come back and cause a commotion.Desired SettlementHave the business post in order to be able to eat at this establishment you have to tip the waitress. Business Response One of the women involved had a cell phone to her ear and failed to even acknowledge the presence of the manager. That woman simply started walking away requiring the manager to slightly raise his voice since distance was being put between them. He merely called out "Ma'am in an attempt to get her attention. She kept walking away.Rosato's is a full service restaurant. We have a full menu of authentic Italian meals and some of the best Pizza around. We also insist on impeccable service by our Servers. Most people realize that restaurant wait staff work on tips Since one of the women responded that the service was OK yet she did not tip, we will not dignify the complaint with a response.We will not be posting her suggested sign. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I feel that every person should be treated equally. I do not feel that certain people should be required to tip or if they don't they cannot come back. That is why I requested the sign. I do not want anyone else to go through the same experience that we did. Yes, we continued to walk away because we did not want to get into a confrontation that would have caused more confusion. I understand that waitress are paid a small hourly percentage and works more for tips. I am a true tipper. But the idea of someone checking to see if you tip and waiting until after the bill was paid and to say we did not tip the first time or that time therefore we cannot come back to the restaurant. Also, yelling at customers as they walk away from (the manager) we did not know who the person was because he did not identify himself at the time. I believe is unprofessional.
