I made a 2:00 PM appointment with Rose and Bob Home to clean the gutters. I received a telephone call at/around 11:00 AM on the day of the appointment, ( while away from my house), that they are at my house. I drove home within half an hour, to watch them working on a gutter in the REAR of the house. They worked on that gutter for a short time, then caulked a tiny hole made by a woodpecker and stapled two bunches of tinsel to side so as to scare away woodpeckers, at their suggestion. They then packed up ready to leave, so I asked about the other gutters and they promptly said they were already done. I paid for the gutter service and an additional amount for the woodpecker prevention. So they left. Because of the short duration of time they spent, I curiously checked the lower gutters only to notice that they were never cleaned or touched. I called and complained and they returned only to notice that the upper roof gutter in the FRONT?? of the house was totally clogged with leaves and debris. The remaining gutters still have debris from from the roof and are moldy looking.
Not a honest way to treat a customer.
They showed up at dusk on 11/9/19 at 4:30 with only head lights from one of their trucks and a flashlight. They were supposed to clean gutters, repair garage door weather stripping, and replace trim at roof line that had blown off in a wind storm. They had a template to guide them with the siding break. Gutters still have leaves in them. Garage door weather stripping is dented and bowed. They did not have a suitable ladder to do garage door work. They used mine. Aluminum trim at roof line has gaps were wood shows through . I have not yet looked for cigarette butts. Bob usually had one in his hand as he berated his employees. They seemed to be his wife and son. They dragged the ladder across gutters denting edges and scrapping paint. Awful work. Awful way to treat employees. Awful way to treat customers. I do not want them in the yard again. I will consider it tresspassing.
