I received a sales promotional flyer that was semantically crafted to imply that I had won $and had to come in to the dealership to claim the prize It included a website address where you could get a confirmation number for the prize The promotion was a beautiful deception, since when I arrived, everyone else waiting in line had received the same winning game pieceI would never consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership after they wasted almost two hours of my time with a semantically crafted ruse
I special ordered a vehicle from White's Ford on April 13th It finally arrived on June 16th When I went to inspect it, it was not what I ordered The transmission selector was on the column, when I ordered it to be on the floor The salesman then, could not remember the conversation that we had concerning this I was told that there was nothing that I could do about this vehicle Basically "take it or leave it"Then they also told me that the only way that I could get a vehicle with that configuration was to go from the "XLT" to a Lariat version They found one with a sticker price only $5,more than mine, but the net price was $9,different! When I offered to split the difference, they said there would not consider that They had no inclination of providing any kind of customer satisfaction or to try to remedy the situationThen when I finally accepted the vehicle, I financed it through Ford Motor Credit I had to make a minimum of payments before I could look for another lending institute because Ford's interest rates were so high The salesman told me that I could make all payments in one lump sum check However their finance person told me that I was told an untruth there I could not do that If I had done what the salesman had suggested, I would have still had to make more paymentsThe whole experience with buying a vehicle from White's Ford was with misleading and memory challenged company personnel
After being treated terribly by another dealership, a friend recommended I go to White's Ford on in OrrvilleI only wish that I had found them soonerEveryone I met at White's Ford was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcomeWorked with George to find the perfect vehicle for my needsGeorge went above and beyond, in my opinion, to help me purchase my truckNo high pressure salesNo talking me into something that was not perfect for meJust good, honest, fair and friendly He sold me a great vehicle at a great price and I could not be happier I cannot say enough good about this dealershipTheir sales staff is polite, friendly, knowledgeable , and you will find that Jim and the service crew are the same wayEveryone I have encountered has been friendly and welcoming I won't go any where else
Sweepstakes offering winnings and advertisingI am a college educated person, myself along with other college educated people both read the direct mailer several times thinking that I indeed won $prizeUpon entering the dealership I noticed several other people, many elderly people as well that seems to have a hard time understanding where their winnings were, only to find out that the seeepstakes was a bait and switch tactic to get new customers in the doorAfter entering the information into their system I was told I only won $and I would be entered into a basically a pool of other potential candidates for the actual grand prizes one of which is the $cashI was denied a copy of my sweepstakes upon exiting the dealership
I went to look for a new truck and when they asked to run my credit I told them to only ask banks for the loan and they ended up asking banks and that made my credit score drop points because they kept denying me because I had to many inquiries becaue they ran my credit way to many times to try to find a bank to give me the loan, and when I called them about it they said they didn't do that but when I called the banks asking who ran my credit with them they said Whites ford did and after I told Whites ford that they said they will look into who did it but never herd back from them after that
Removed shielding to tighten alternator belt and improperly replaced it causing the shield to fall off while driving
On 03/26/I brought in my car to have the belt tightenedAfter an hour of waiting I was told the job was done and that the alternator belt needed tightened as wellI was then charged $plus tax for this minimal serviceAfter that I left and went to work and noticed a strange sound when turningI called them back to set up an appointment for Monday (3/28) to have it looked atI proceeded to drive only for the noise to become worse and cause me to stop and call another mechanic for immediate repairs as the shielding had nearly fallen all the way offThis mechanic revealed to me that the shielding had been improperly replaced with no fasteners and only three screws (one of which was in the wrong place)The shield was also affixed too low onto the car and appeared to have been forced into that position when the shield wasn't lining up
