I recently moved out of this apartment complex at the end of November. In the middle of January, I received a statement of charges stemming from my time there and called to inquire about the charges. There were several charges that did not make sense (including utilities which I paid through an outside company up to the time I moved out). I called the Resident Manager and he said he would research my charges and call me back the next day. Close to a week later I still had not heard from him and have since left at least three messages that he was "going to return the same day". When I could get no answers from him, I attempted to contact the Corporate Resident Manager. I have left messages but have still not received a call back. It seems like they are avoiding me because they know some of the charges are not reasonable. Now I am worried as there is a notice on the bottom of the statement that if I do not pay it will be sent to collections and I do not want this to harm my credit. I feel they are trying to strong arm me into just paying as they ignore my requests for additional information.
