HE'S A FRAUD
In 2009 I sent him $2400 and BEGGED him for TWO years to send me the icebox handles I ordered for my fancy, new Miele fridge (like SubZero but better). I heard every excuse in the book: marital problems, partner problems, supply chain problems. NEVER did I get them. I even talked to the sheriff in his town Christiansburg, VA 24073
and the sheriff said that they had received many complaints but there was nothing they could do.

NOW, 12 years later I JUST reached out to him thinking MAYBE he got his s*** together and has a real production company, considering the demand for his product. I just sent him an email. If he comes thru, I will reverse this review. FINGERS CROSSED HE DOES THE RIGHT THING!

Review: Months ago I ordered custom hinges and hardware for my refrigerator and freezer from [redacted] in Virginia. He has cashed my two checks totaling $5,500 and had promised delivery in early January. Then suddenly (like others I have found online) he began to complain about 'personal problems' and said I'd have my hardware 'soon.' Then, he just stopped responding to me all together; emails and phone calls. It is now mid March and I have realized this guy is using his purported business to rip people off. This is very frustrating to me as I am moving my family into our new home and have no way to open and close my refrigerator and freezer not to mention being out of my $5,500. I wish someone would put this guy out of business, it is not right what he is doing.Desired Settlement: I want my refund for my two checks sent ($1080 deposit)($4,390 balance) for a total of $5,470

The customer's order was shipped complete on 26 May 2015.

Review: John Flanagan subcontracted to provide hardware for a cabinet customer of ours in June, 2013. We sent a deposit check for $1476.80 on July 2nd, 2013, which was immediately cashed the next week. Flanagan stated that the lead time for his project would be four months. Towards the end of November, 2013, (well over the the four month lead time) no product had been produced and the customer was getting impatient as all of the cabinetry had been completed and they were awaiting the hardware. Flanagan could not be reached by phone or email to provide any estimation of a completion date. Finally, on December 12, 2013, the customer cancelled the order as it had been over five months since any significant contact with Flanagan had been made and no answers to the completion date for the hardware had been promised. On December 12th, I made a request for a full refund of the deposit via email and Flanagan finally replied. He agreed via email to refund the deposit since the order was cancelled by the client (not by us). However, Flanagan has asked that he be given more time to pay off the debt he now owes to us as he cannot pay us back due to personal reasons. Now it is the middle of March 2014...more than eight months later, AND Flanagan has not paid us back one dime of the deposit he owes us. He is now not replying to emails and not answering phone calls.Desired Settlement: John Flanagan has both in writing (email) and on the phone agreed to pay us back the deposit owed to us ($1476.80). Our business cannot wait any longer for his delinquency.

I am more than willing to refund them their deposit due to not being able to deliver on time. But as I explained to them I cannot do so until I have cash enough to cover my bills and the refund. I will do so as soon as I am able.
