The hotel charged me USD 21 for receiving packages for me during my stay. I have stayed in many hotels and this was the first one that levy such a charge. They claimed the policy was clearly on the website, but when I went through the website, I could not find such a policy. It is not a common practice and the policy was definitely not clearly advertised. Based on that, I do not believe I should be charged for that.

We inquired and discovered she stayed at the Rosen Centre Hotel from June 21 - 26.

My issue is that one has to expect such a charge to be looking for and somehow find the information on the hotel websites. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and in the US, and this hotel is the first and only one that assessed such a charge in my experience. And this information is not obvious when one goes through a normal booking procedure. I am attaching screenshots of what I would imagine a normal person booking a room would see.
This very much looks like a hidden charge from my perspective...
