Review: Sept. 2011 we had approximately 800 square feet of Expo laminate flooring installed in our house by Carpet One. The installer at the time was [redacted] who told me he was a general contactor but installed floors during slower times. The floor was installed and immediately had gaps between several boards. I contact sales clerk (I do not remember her name) a few days after the floors were installed. I told her there we small gaps between the boards. She said asked if the gaps bothered me and I told her no I was just informing them. I figured she would send someone out to fix them but she didn't. On 1-20-14 I noticed several boards were staring to wear and show white. Flooring is a med brown color so the white stands out. The gaps allowed water to get under the board and started to bubble the boards. I contacted Carpet One on 1-22-14 and spoke with [redacted]. He said he would leave a message for [redacted] the manager and he would call me back. I left my current phone number. I did not receive a call from [redacted] and called back on 1-23-14 which time I spoke with [redacted] and he said he had the wrong number. On 1-28-14 [redacted] came out and inspected the floor he said he did not know what was causing the board to turn white. [redacted] said the water damage was not covered. I explained to him the water damage was created from the gaps that I informed them about after the installation. He said he would have an installer [redacted] come out and inspect it. [redacted] from [redacted] Flooring came out and inspected the floor on 1-30-14 and said it was a manufacture defect. [redacted] also took a spare board to conduct water testing? I have not heard from [redacted] I have left him several messages and he will not return my calls. I initially wanted the floor fixed however I am requesting a full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund

[redacted] is no longer with our company and we were not aware of your complaint here at the main Roseville office. We have received your letter from the Revdex.com and would like to solve this problem A.S.A.P. I would like to replace your floor free of charge. This will require you to pick out a new floor at the showroom in Chico. As soon as you pick out a new floor we will set up a time for the reinstall. Sorry for the inconvenience.
