08/24/2015To whom it may concern,This letter is in response to the allegations that were brought against my company Ross Auto Repair and Sales located at [redacted] ***Mr [redacted] purchased a Mercedes Benz CLfrom us on August of , at the time of purchase Mr [redacted] was unable to transfer titles and plate for the vehicle, the car was to sit on our lot overnight until he was able to transfer into his nameMr [redacted] has bought several vehicles from our company and we have always treated him with the upmost respectDuring that evening, after business hours Mr [redacted] took the vehicle without permission, while driving, he lost control and severely damaged the vehicleMr [redacted] had the vehicle towed to us by [redacted] CompanyWe tried to work with him concerning this matter because we considered him a valuable customer, no problems were brought to our attention until he was incarcerated and Miss [redacted] got involved, we have tried to speak with her in a professional manner and have been given nothing but a negative responseUpon the arrival of the Mercedes Benz CL500, MrR [redacted] did a visual estimate of the vehicle, at that time he asked for a $deposit down so that when we knew what parts we needed the deposit would start to cover what was neededWe require a down payment on all services before we startAll communication was between our company and Mr [redacted] , Miss [redacted] was never dealt with at any time while the vehicle was at our shop, direct communication was only through Mr[redacted] until he was incarceratedThe damage to the vehicle is as stated beiow:Right Front FenderRight front Headlight assemblyUsed Bumper CoverLeft Control ArmRight rear Control ArmOil PanOil PumpAll of these repairs when done, the total cost of these repairs were :Parts Cost $1275.00Labor Cost $total labor for oil pan and oil pump repairLabor Cost $ additional labor for the other parts listed aboveTOTAL LABOR $ 2025.00Total Parts $1275.00Total cost including tax $3498.00Not until after the control arms were replaced did we see that due to the accident the front suspension was damaged, we spent a lot of time and money diagnosing the issue and have even had the car at a different shop to find our exactly what is wrong with the front suspensionThe total price for parts alone to fix the front suspension is $ not including labor.Thank You,

Review: My name is [redacted] and my boyfriend [redacted] (with the assistance of Scott R[redacted] the owner of Scott Auto and Repairs in Charleroi Pa had my 2000 Mercedes Benz CL500 (VIN # [redacted]) towed by [redacted] to Scott Auto in Charleroi PA in August,2014. Upon arrival we stated our complaints with my vehicle at that time Mr. S[redacted] visually examined the vehicle and stated that the repairs (nothing specific) would cost a total of $3,000. He stated that the price of the parts themselves would be substantial. A large majority of the $3,000 would cover the replacement parts, mainly the hydraulics suspension components. Mr. R[redacted] stated that the parts would need to be ordered and that the payment of the $3,000 would need to be furnished up front. We assumed because the company itself had low operating Capital. [redacted] and I gave Mr. S[redacted] the quoted $3,000 in CASH. He supplied us with a receipt/bill of sale/repair order bearing Mr. S[redacted] company letter head on top. He additionally stated that everything would be taken care of and we didn't have to worry. He stated that as soon as the parts arrived he would work to repair the issues as soon as possible, noting our need for a second vehicle. It is now august 2015 and after a year has elapsed our car still remains on his property UNREPAIRED. Mr. S[redacted] refuses to give either one of us a bill of repair on what he said he has repaired on the Mercedes cl500. I have asked for months for the paper on what Mr. S[redacted] has repaired after all of these months and he refuses to give me any proof. We have text messages, voice recordings, our attorney believes we would win a small claim civil suit with minimal effort. You refuse my calls and won't speak to me, [redacted] at all about my vehicle. why? Mr. S[redacted], we prefer not to utilize this route but something has to be done. the way you have handled this transaction has been in exclusive. Mr. S[redacted] please reply to our complaint within 7 business days. Thank you [redacted] and [redacted].Desired Settlement: Mr. S[redacted], we seek immediate attention. Resolution we formally request that you either repair our vehicle pre our prior arrangement with no additional cost to us or you refund our $3,000 in full. [redacted] and I have concluded that if our resolution is not met our next logical step would be to notify the attorney general of your fraudulent practices and over all disregard for quality customer service. We have enough proof to take you, Mr. S[redacted] to small claims court.
