I am responding to the complaint filed against my business by *** ***I started the job with Mr*** and took down several of his treesI had to use a subcontractor to use a craneBecause of scheduling issues with the crane subcontractor the job was delayed a littleMr*** broke
the contract and hired another companyHe had given me a deposit, which was for ? of the jobWhen he cancelled the contract with me, I told him I had performed ? of the job, so I wouldn’t be returning his refundHe in turn confiscated several pieces of my equipmentNone of which was new, but still probably valued at $300-I am sorry that the job didn’t go as smoothly and as quickly as he would have liked, but with any job, you do run in to unforeseen issues and in this case I had to hire a subcontractor that wasn’t able to get to the job as quickly as Mr*** would have liked He still has my equipment and will not be getting a refund because I did perform ? of the job that I was contracted for.Sincerely,*** ***
