Company Name: Rossi's Performance Motorsports, LLCCompany Contact Name: Gayle R***Company Contact Phone: [redacted] Company Contact Email: [redacted] Consumer's Name: [redacted] Revdex.com Staff Member (if you know): [redacted] ***Complaint Information: While it is true we had this customers truck for several months at the shop there's more to the story of this particular jobDuring the vehicles time here we installed a cat-back exhaust kit , air intake & front bull bar--along with the customers supplied speakers , amp , subwoofers & radioUnfortunately some of those parts the customer supplied didn't fit the vehicle and we acquired them [ some taking a week or so to get] , then the customer wanted to upgrade the radio unit which took a bit more timeKeep in mind we are a small shop and have the regular scheduled jobs coming and going, not allowing us to work on "project vehicles" like this oneSeveral times during the vehicles stay we suggested the vehicle was able to drive if needed--his response was he had a second vehicle to drive and leave it at the shop to finishNote: The vehicle has been delivered and he expressed that all product works as it shouldLets look at the actual amounts: [product] labor [10.3@ hour] --Head to toe on this vehicle we have over hours invested in this job and have charged the customer only -- I believe this was a very reasonable price and should be compensation for the extra time we had the vehicleSent on: 5/17/5:35:PM

This company recently installed a car starter and they did a great jobThey accommodated my business hours and were very friendly

I am rejecting this response because: one he already knew that I wanted speakers and a head unit installed back in December The exhaust that he put on was already paid for in December and he informed me that he would put it on while he was installing the stereo the exhaust was a separate billAlso the air intake manifold was also paid for separately then the stereoInstall while he had the stereo equipment prior to his requestTruck was dropped off back in December like I said I was informed that the install with everything that I wanted would only take until first week in JanuaryHe did have to order speakers and a head unit because the ones I had didn't fit that is correctBut there is still no reason that it took as long as it did from December to MayTwo weeks prior of me getting my truck backin may he did 't for me that I could pick it up but I would have to bring it back because he was waiting for a partI paid for a finished truck and that's what I wanted so I did not pick it up because then I would have to just drop it back off againHe states that in the message that I got that it's something like hours of time I have talked to other installation people and there's no way it should have taken that longIn my opinion I'm being generous by only asking for half of my money back and not asking for more for having to rent a car while he had my truckIf it was a job that he was unable to do he should have said something
