 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This is a "run-around" scheme started by Bob R[redacted]. I did speak with [redacted] and [redacted] was adamant that either [redacted] or Bob R[redacted] was responisble for the refund of $428 for the tires. I spoke to [redacted] (the 800# forwarded by Bob R[redacted]), they said in no uncertain terms that ALL POINT-OF-SALE VENDORS OF [redacted] TIRES are responsible for refunds and/or replacements (with the "bad" tires in question being shipped to [redacted]'s Allentown, PA, facility). Bob R[redacted] knows this. Bob R[redacted] is being evasive and stubborn because he knows he's wrong and he knows he's been caught.I'll give Bob one more chance before I take this to court. I want $1,033.00 ($428 refund for the tires, $356.00 for the unnecessary rotor and brake job, $49 for the failed state inspection and $200 for wasting more than 2 days of lost wages on my part) refunded to me plus and apology. Take it or leave it. If Bob would like to spend 4 or 5 times this amount by losing in court, plus incur the negative publicity for putting me through this situation when I was willing to resolve this fairly weeks ago, then be my guest. I am trying to resolve this in his best interest, quietly and out of the public eye. This is not a threat. I am asking, no, begging him to not test my resolve on this issue. Please do the right thing and issue the refund. As [redacted] said, he will receive credit for the bad tires once they are sent to and analyzed by the Allentown facility. [redacted] is on my side in this issue and has confirmed that I did the correct thing by taking the tires back to Bob (call [redacted] and check Ref#[redacted] and ask for Kathy). Bob sold these tires and charged for the unnecessary work. It's Bob's responsibility to stand by his work. It comes down to integrity, honor and customer service. Honor the warranty, Bob. Refund the money for the unnecessary work. Do what's right and save your reputation! Again, I'm begging you to end your cavalier attitude towards this issue and and give me the respect I deserve. It is going to cost you a lot more than the modest amount I have proposed if this has to go to court. Again, I'm asking you nicely to do the right thing and correct your mistakes.Regards,[redacted]

I have just spoken with [redacted] from [redacted] Tire with regards to the [redacted] tires made by [redacted]. He spoke with [redacted] offering four new tires or a refund to him in exchange for the old tires to be returned to [redacted]. The offer was refused, after three years of use. I would like to resolve the tire issue and then proceed with a refund on the brakes. I continue to offer my cooperation to settle this. I also have a law firm if needed and I hope that will not be necessary. Bob R[redacted]
