Took my car in to get some minor surface rust fixed. Ross quoted $250 which I thought was reasonable. The agreed instructions were to fix the rust near the gas cap and on the gas door. No written estimate was given which I thought was strange but didn't think twice, how could this get messed up?? Well, it did. Return to pick up the car and wait for 20 minutes to get the car out of the shop. My mistake in paying while waiting because after seeing the poor paint job I wouldn't have paid them at all. Worst of all they completely ignored the gas door only completing 50% of the work quoted.... Just like other complaints Ross wasn't able to be found but made another worker tell us it was a miscommunication. This went on and on round and round. Why would we want 50% of the job done and not 100%? Just like Kevin's complaint below they put more effort into the excuse than the actual work. Terrible experience and would recommend anywhere but Rossten in the future.

We are very sorry your experience with us was not what you expected. We always strive to provide customers with the highest quality work based upon what was requested of us.
You are correct that $250 is a reasonable price for almost 2 hours of repair time, an hour of paint time, supplies and overhead. This is what it was estimated to take to do the repair you requested.
However, the repair that was requested and estimated was for the repair and refinish of the fuel pocket. At the time of the estimate there was no mention of the fuel door by either the client or the estimator.
While we are sorry you had to wait to take your car, we informed you upon arrival that it was not ready and required more drying time.
We ALWAYS stand behind our work. If the work we did was done poorly please contact us by email with photographs of the fuel pocket and we will be glad to correct any deficiencies.
We have a well-trained, professional staff with well over 100 yrs of experience. We are proud that multiple members of our team can handle all manner of customer interactions. If a specific person is not available due to other business matters, others are available and capable of handling the matter.

Terrible Service and Quality
Took my truck back to the body shop twice and they still didn't get it right. Missed body spots, dust and multiple buffings, leaving primer showing through the clear coat all over. They put more effort in making excuses than working on your vehicle!
