Installed new sewer line but never came back to finish the job. Yard, driveway, sidewalk damaged. Exposed pipes in yard.12/19/13-12/22/13 Roto-Rooter installed new sewer pipe. Destroyed front yard, driveway, front sidewalk and side flower bed. Left two cleanout pipes exposed several inches above ground. Contract reads that they would return between 12/26/13 and 12/28/13 to repair yard and concrete. After tearing up sidewalk they left one section leaned up against a tree with the intention to reuse it. Tried to contact owner by phone and e-mail to discuss situation with no response. Due to lack of repairs when it rained the driveway collapsed and we had to get a wrecker to get vehicle out of the driveway.Sunken area in yard and driveway so bad now it has becaome dangerous and a possible liability to us as a homeowner. We placed a temporary walkway from house to vehicles so as not to walk through ditch and mud. Five months prior to work the driveway had been newly graded, regraveled and compacted and was very stable. At the same time the yard had been sodded by a professional landscaper. Now everything looks like a mud pit!Desired SettlementWe want our home properly repaired and returned to its original condition before Roto-Rooter did the work.Business Response This customers drive way was fixed and lawn is in process of being laid had to wait tell fescue could be cut. they tried to contect me while I was in hospital due ti heart atteack I emailed them and stop buy when I got out in midlle on January in witch we made agreement that we would fix drive way witch want in original contract we where ony suppose to put origanl dirt back, but to keep customer happy I got drive way re done and got grass put back by professional landscaper
