This is not a statement of resolution as provided by the business; it is, in the business' mind, why items were charged and a "justification" to charge moreI am convinced that the bill was inflated because I did not outright accept all the charges and also that I didn't tell him he was a great guy
I do not give glowing reviews to businesses just to get a discount or free whateverI also do not write blank checks to businessesA price was agreed on and nothing further was authorizedA rehash of the original complaint and subsequent resolution will not be posted here, but to respond to the "taxes"--Paying in cash resulted in a $credit card fee, which was not taken off

First let me say I am shocked about this complaint*** has been to my shop an other shops in the past we treat all our customers well an there repair an cost for repair is always fairwe have been in auto repair for years an this is the very first complaint not only to Revdex.com but first complaint
ever, we take pride in fixing the customers issue with end result being repeat happy customer
we are a member of *** if you go on that site there is a estimator calculator for auto repairs if you go to this site an put in buick century engine zip code intake gasket replace you see a list of shops in my zip code an cost for this particular repairas follows

an few many more but our base charge for this job with no other parts needed will cost plus taxesthis car there is a issue with manifold bolts stating should be changed due to this problem*** stated she had this done by another shop in the past an we suggested to replace the bolts because maybe the other shop might not have done so an we wanted to do the job correctlyso this is also additional chargeso when we gave her price we said plus tax an she said I ONLY have so we agreeded at this point to do intake gasket with new bolt set and hose clamps on radiator hoses that were seeping an what ever the total was keep it at cashshe an I agreed
she dropped car off we started work an found head bolt at rocker arm thread was rough an this might be issue with engine in future AND SHE MADE IT CLEAR THERE IS
so at this point I did what I deem the most important an less cost to customer an did the retap of intake an also coil pack thread an included it in the cost I ate this extra work
we called *** to tell her about the change in doing the tread repair instead of the radiator hose clamps but she called us about hrs later so we had already continued on with the repair ( thread )
we finished the car an while moving power steering pump we had lost fluid from the lines an topped off with new fluids
a the end of the repair the total bill was
*** called an was very upset that the repair I told her was was now even after many discounts an extra time an labor we were charging over charging her
*** was angry an didn't want to accept the fact we did a quality repair with extra customer service im not sure other shops would or even should do with out charging
she paid the bill I tried to explain to her I was even upset because going the extra mile for her an she refused to understand she left the shop an hr later came back an said we over charged her now another because at the bottom of our receipt it breads down all the taxes individually an we did not tell her about shop supplies haz waste fee an charge for cc use
I explained to her we can not change the taxes we agreed to total cost an that was
I feel at this point *** is just using the Revdex.com to bully us into giving her now an additional for im not even sure where this came from
May I state I believe in customers having a way to dispute a legitimate dispute And I believe in there being a mediator to help settle but in this case its not the repair its not the shops quality work its a customer with other issues
So *** from GOOD BRAKES AUTOMOTIVE will help customers an does always take care of our customers but will not be harassed

the automotive industry uses *** an all data as a auto repair estimate guide line to estimate jobslast answer to the Revdex.com we supplies our *** web site info an several other businesses if I remember correctly we were the next to lowest on that job for this area an we didn't charge customer for extra work an still came in lower
when *** came in we were happy to take care of her being she said she had been to other shops that ripped her offwe figured we had a customer for life now because we are very fair to our customers
but know I see *** has too much time on her hands an I would really like to know the job of the Revdex.com don't the weed out complaints that are not really consumer has been done wrong by shop complaints . This is not about quality of work / this is not about fraud / this is not about bait an switch , its about a consumer trying to use the weight of a Revdex.com complaint to gain a pay check or refunded not due
we did the work we gave exact estimate an then when we had to top off some fluid she expects us to pay for it well not going to happen *** was given a very fair price and quality job ...notce no complaints there but she has other issues
ADVISE get some help in your life it will be worth it in the end you will be at peace an thank someone for good fair priced jobnow to the Revdex.com we choose to not be a member because of few years ago there was favoritism that made news not in your favor, an at that time decided to opt out of not being a member. thank you *** GOOD BRAKES AUTO
