Our nonprofit was seeking a solution for managing our volunteers and schedules and came across Volunteer Scheduler Pro by Rotunda Software. They offered a 15-day trial, however, in that trail you could not experience the full version. I called the representative that reached out to me named *** and asked her about this and she did confirm that in order to use that feature, we would have to purchase the full version. So I did..as all of our volunteers are remote and we needed to see how it would function. Not once in that conversation was I told that there were no refunds. On the same date of purchase, we attempted to upload our list into their platform and had issues that they helped us solve, however today on a few days later we had issues again with importing. Unfortunately, we have spent a lot of time in a short period attempting to figure out the glitches. When reaching out to tech support I was met with hostility and rude attitudes especially by *** their director of technical support. When I told her that I just wanted a refund, she stated that because I wasn't on a "trial" I could not have a refund. I reminded her that I had to pay in order to try it out and she basically said so what. I have not signed anything as I gave our credit card information over the phone as there is no way to do it online. Therefore, there were no "terms" to review or agree to stating or reiterating a refund policy.

Refund We simply our money back! It is a very poor business practice to strong-arm small nonprofits by tricking them into paying for a trial, then saying that there is no refund...plus trying to do this without having something in writing.

VSP is easily customizable to suit the needs of many types of volunteer programs. That said, we know that VSP is not the right solution for everyone and offer a free 15-day trial of the program to allow organizations the opportunity to assess whether VSP might effectively meet their needs. However, the trial does not include access to all available features, and purchasing a subscription is necessary in order to gain full use of the program. Though we do not typically offer refunds for VSP subscriptions, we understand that extenuating circumstances may dictate the need for an exception to our standard policies. Rotunda Software is as strongly committed as ever to the success of our users and the communities they serve, and we understand that times like these sometimes call for greater flexibility. We have resolved this particular issue by providing the customer with a full refund within 2 days of receiving the initial request for cancellation, and within the 15-day window of what would otherwise have been a free trial period. Our hope is that this resolves this user's issue. We wish them the very best success.
