Tell us why he The car was written up for a check engine light not for tachometer not reading correctly Upon the repair order being written the ticket was dispatched to appropriate technicianUpon inspection found multiple misfire codesUpon further inspection technician found antifreeze reservoir bottle completely empty and the radiator itself low on antifreezeThe system took almost a full gallon to fill On cold startup of vehicle technician noted smoke out of tail pipe until car was warmed upTechnician performed Hydro Carbon test on antifreezeTest failed showing exhaust mixed into cooling system After filling cooling system with antifreeze even after an hour of vehicle running the antifreeze was bubbling in the radiatorThese three items are indicative of leaking head gasketAfter the customer was presented with the estimate the technician spoke to the customer on the phoneThe customer admittedly stated the prior day that he noted the system was low and had topped off himself During that same conversation the customer had asked if the tech noted anything on the tach and the tech noted he did see it acting erratic and stated that could possibly be caused by a crank shaft position sensorTech also stated to customer to confirm the head gasket was blown it would need further diagnostic which would involve removal of the manifold and performing a compression test and leak down test on each cylinder to pinpoint head gasket leakCustomer declined further diagnosticsre

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I received one phone call from Chris at the dealership, a voice mail was left as she called while I was at work that stated she and the general manager did not know anything about my complaint and that they did not understand my complaintI returned the message and had to leave a voice mail as well since no one answered at the number that was providedIn my voice mail I explained the complaint and informed her that I had spoken with her directly January 19, and still had the saved message on my phone where she herself stated that I would receive the full refund from their business department.Therefore I did not understand why she was now saying that she did not know anything about my complaintI was never contacted by anyone informing me of my optionsI understand that the service was financed and am completely fine with the refund being sent to the institution that funded my loan as the loan has not yet been paid offI do not understand why this could not have been relayed to me the first time I called over a year ago especially when I have informed every person I have spoken to about this situation that I no longer live anywhere near the dealership so obviously I cannot bring the vehicle in to have the service completedI tried again yesterday 12/16/to contact the person who called about the complaint to inform her of everything I have entered here and again had to leave a message so I am rejecting the response as I cannot get anyone at the dealership to contact me back Regards, [redacted]

In response to the request of a refund for window tinting never recievedMulitple messages have been left with the customer explaing their optionsThe window tint was financed in the car deal so they will either have to return to the dealer for the window tint to be performed or a check will be
cut back to the lenderThe customer is not eligable for a refundWe have yet to get a response from the customer to let us know how to proceedLet us know if you have any more questions

i'm very sorry you feel that way ***The car was a trade in here the ladie that traded it didn't dive very many miles and did do some of her service work with us oil changes were a part of what she did here,as far as another shop saying a car has a sludgy engine they would have to open it
up to tell that?? You have had the car now for over months the throttle body cleaning they did is your option it is a part of mantinance it sounds like they over sold it by saying sludgethe airfuel sensor can go out on any car at anytime on an 8yr old car, it was working when we sold it and theres no way for us to know when one might fall it would be like predicting when a light bulb might go outYou got a very low milage older car that was taken care of but some of these things that you are talking about are all a part of ownershipif you have any other questions please fill free to call me my direct line is ###-###-####

the customer purchased the car on 11/5/which was a Satthe customer also did there own outside financingwe won't payoff the tradein until we receive funding for the new car they purchased thats why we get a ten day payoff (business days )the customers payoff was recived by his bank
on the 15th well with in the days. his paper work was mail to him as well

first off we are sorry for the delay in getting your tags we where able to get you a temp tag before you left I know you talked to *** *** one of my managers and got it sorted out. we did have an issue getting the origanal title sorted outBut all the paper work with
your car has been settled with the state as I understand they are running slow.We never see the title it goes stright to your C.U as far as your credit union changing your rate they shouldn't be able to do that when you sighed the contract when you bought the car that's binding they can't change the terms of you contract without your ok ?? i've never heard of that ever happening i've been doing this for 37yrs ? This is only half of the story. STILL WAITING FOR TITLE. As far as the service . After waiting approximately a half hour I inquired why my car was not being worked on and was told that it would be at least 2 hours until my work would start and would than take another hour. It was only after this and I stated my upset that a loaner car was offered and at the same time indicated that another tec was available and my car was now being worked on. I declined the loaner as it was no longer necessary. My recall work was the completed in less than one hour.
