I am rejecting this response because:Why don't we do this You think that you have done everything by the book The value of our home was done correctly according to you The Removal of PMI states that only you can get an appraiser to do the appraisal The customer does not get to go out and get an independent appraiser because then you would not have complete control over their valuation Again, let's try this on for size If you are so sure that the valuation was correct, let me try to go and find an independent certified appraiser to do an independent appraisal of my property without your hands around their neck telling them where the value has to come in If I can find one that is not in the hands of mortgage companies, let them do the appraisal If the appraisal comes in over $235,as yours did, then RoundPoint pays off my mortgage in full You say that the appraisal was done by the book then you should have nothing to fear Can you agree to the above? Or do you have fear and doubt as to the valuation I would imagine so when paying off my mortgage comes in to the equation When there are consequences, where do you stand?Let me know if I can go out and get an independent appraiser and you will abide by their results - preferably with you paying off the mortgage in full All I originally asked for in the beginning was to remove the PMI but paying the mortgage off in full would be nice I know you probably cannot agree to this but want to hear what you have to say nonetheless I continue on with this process because I know there are others being driven mad by mortgage companies interfering with the process of removing their PMI's I have spoken to others and they all agree my path will be fruitless Mortgage makes hundreds of millions of dollars in PMI and you don't mess with the "big dog" or you will get bit I will continue my fight as this needs to stop I feel like I've done nothing wrong and yet I get wronged Remember the first Rambo - all he wanted was some food and look what happened It's hard when you do all the right things and still get the wrong end of the stick.So, one last time, can I get an independent appraiser and if they come in above your $235,000, you pay off the mortgage in full?
