As is
A term used to describe a sales transaction in which the seller offers goods in their present, existing condition to prospective buyers
The term as is gives notice to buyers that they are taking a risk on the quality of the goodsThe buyer is free to inspect the goods before purchase; but if any hidden defects are discovered after purchase, the buyer has no recourse against the sellerAny implied or express warranties that usually accompany goods for sale are excluded in an "as is" sale

I am rejecting this response because: Be realistic no one buys a warranty for miles for dollarsI have checked several aftermarket warranties and I could have gotten 150.,warranty for that amount of money. The current sales manager said this deal was screwy and the people that ripped me off no longer worked there. Use common sense, if I paid for a 75,warranty you expected it to last milesI was told by all parties to include Dan that the truck was Certified and had the dealer warranty to 75,and the warranty I purchased was in addition to the dealer warranty This dealership preyed on me because of my handicapped and I wish to that it be placed on your websiteI am also notified the American Disability Association and the Wounded Warrior Association.

Dear *** ***, In regards to your *** ***, the tags were processed on August 28th but were not complete through the system due to a customer stop on the account through DMVThe DMV removed the stop once all the paperwork for the title was faxed in on September 18, This allowed the complete registration and titling to be processed through the DMV system on September 24, Once the title and registration was complete, I then sent the paperwork in via mail to the VA DMV in Richmond, VA on October 2, I spoke with the DMV again today and they said they mailed the title out to the customer, you, on October 30, Please let me know that you did receive this titleAny questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with the Virginia State Inspector who told me that since the car had been repaired already that they normally take the car back to the dealership to have it re inspectedThe Manager at the Dealership did not Disclose the known issues with the carThe steering system was broken and the car's only back bumper was the plastic coverWe asked to take the car to our Maryland Inspector and were told that was not possible, we could buy it on not. The salesman assured us that is SHOULD pass inspection in Maryland as it PASSED IN VIRGINIA. The major issues is this dealership is selling dangerous vehicles that are being driven by families on Virginia and Maryland RoadsThey will not address the true issues that this car should not have been sold to us or anyoneThey advertised a car that they did not have, when I called to inquire but told me they had a good replacement, Yes we did drive hours to get this carWe thought going to a dealership was better than buying a car from a private individual without the added information such as an inspection and *** ***. They showed us the *** ***, we test drove the car for about minutes and they couldn't wait to get us to sign the forms, they made sure we were who we said we where but they lied about the car's true condition, THEY are HIDING behind the WORDS AS ISThis was not an honest business transaction. They did not disclose the known issues with the car and their mechanic issued the state inspection sticker and therefore in my opinion fraudulently issued it, as the steering and brakes and bumper DID NOT PASS MARYLAND inspectionAs consumers we thought we did our due diligence, We looked at the *** ***, we drove the car and we BELIEVED the LIES. I want everyone in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area to know what type of dealership this is and that they do not have integrity and are operating in an unethical and illegal mannerThey should NOT be allowed to issue Virginia Inspection Stickers I have attached pictures of the bumper and the steering leak sent us by our mechanicA picture is worth a thousand words and as a side note we did not look under the car as the manager stated, what we should have done was have them take it in to the shop and put is up on a lift and do a real inspection

Regarding [redacted] warranty! he extended his warranty out to 75000 miles. At the time of Delivery on April 12, 2014 the [redacted] he purchased had 53803, with the warranty he purchased extended it out to 75000 from the miles that was on the truck at the time of delivery...

(53803) The contract that he signed was clear it states the miles that is on the car at the time of delivery and what it extends it up to. He told us the only outcome that would be satisfactory to him would be to give him an additional 75000 from when he purchased the vehicle. That is not possible uniess he wants to purchase another warranty,Charlie M

Review: The vehicle I returned to the dealership was sold before they financed me into a vehicle. Then once I purchased a vehicle their was a problem with my tags to be issued. I have visited the dealership 3 time in the last month and I have yet to received my tags after a $500 down payment.Desired Settlement: $500 money return

Review: I dropped my car off which was purchased from this dealer in to have the transmission recall repaired and a new remote (starter) installed on May 31, 2013. I received a call from service dept on Saturday afternoon on June 1 stating the repairs had been done and it was ready to pick up. I paid for the remote and left the location. I noticed when I had to call OnStar I could not hear the person on the other end and called back to Route 1 Pontiac on Thursday June 6th and spoke with "[redacted]" who advised me to drop it off. We discussed that with them installing the remote, something must have happened to the OnStar so he said to bring it in again and I did drop it off on June 7th. He did not mention anything about a charge for an "observation fee" in the amount of $120. I received a call from "[redacted]?" on June 8 stating the speaker was blown and the charge would be around $300 I said at that time "No Thanks!". I said I would come and get my car. He said to wait a few minutes while got the paperwork together. Still no mention of a $120 observation fee. When I came to pick it up they tried to charge me $120 and I disputed it at that time. The service rep tried to call "[redacted]?" who was not working that day and received no answer. They still gave me my car and said they would speak with him on Monday.. On Monday June 9ith I received a call from "[redacted]"? who stated he told me verbally that it was $120 charge and I disputed it. The conversation when back and forth and he said he would speak with his manager and see how to handle it. Today I received a bill for $121.55 I refuse to pay. I see this going in a sour direction at this point. I am not paying this bill.Desired Settlement: I want them to eat these charges due to them not letting know anything in advance or having me sign anything stating I agree to pay it beforehand. I filled out a small drop off envelope requesting a call before fixing anything and other details about the conversation I had with the rep before dropping it off.
