My name is [redacted], I am the owner of Route 3 Auto Sales. [redacted] an inquiry regarding a used 2007 2007 [redacted] Sedan. During our conversation [redacted] stated if I could make the the necessary repairs to have this auto pass the safety inspection he would make the purchase. I collected a 50.00...

deposit and began the process. we repaired above mentioned vehicle roughly costing 450.00 for completion. We obtained the financing requested by the customer then called the customer for delivery. During such conversation the customer stated he no longer wished to purchase the [redacted], stating he had more interest in a 2003 [redacted] on my lot. Now very frustrated  I began the process again. we agreed on the purchase price along with the terms of getting the [redacted] ready for the safety inspection. I collected an additional deposit of 100.00 & the process began again. I asked the customer point blank if he was sure he did want this vehicle and also explained, "I only have three to four weeks to either sell or return the cars to the auction for resale. It is not a policy to Fix a Vehicle unless it is sold: because if does not sell in that time frame it gets returned & sold once again at the auction. The floor plan of financing I use to purchase these vehicles is then repaid. Now after spending roughly 480.00 the [redacted] was ready for delivery. The customer now stated he wanted his mechanic to view the [redacted] for approval. My mechanic accompanied [redacted] to the above mentioned mechanic. The meeting went well with the mechanic agreeing the [redacted] was a nice vehicle which had been repaired to a high standard. upon returning to Route 3 Auto Sales [redacted] now stated he would be in contact the following day. We received a phone call from [redacted] the following day as he promised. We found out once again he had changed his mind and didn't wish to make the purchase. I again informed him of the policy of not fixing vehicles unless they were sold and reiterated he was going to to loose the 150.00 in deposits he had given. I also stated I am not in business to hurt customers so he would have a credit with Route 3 Auto Sales if he decided he would purchase a vehicle in the future. I was informed he would make a complaint.
