Route 44 Toyota Reviews (12)

Customer did purchase a Platinum Vehicle Service Agreement that is still in effectHowever, the problems with the vehicle are wear and tear items and are not covered by the original warranty of yrs/60K or the yr/100K VSA that was purchasedThe items in question were a serpentine belt as
well as brakes and again, both are wear and tear items that are not coveredNo further action can be taken by the dealership at this time

I spoke to the general manager [redacted] about the platnuim warranty... and now he is lying for thsaleman that no longer works who told my mother the extended warranty was 10 years 100k miles and now its 6year 100k miles warranty still on the reciept does not disclose I purchased this so called platinum as he called it. like l previous mentioned about the receipt everything was clearly written cost of the car, taxes paid, etc.... But had no explanation on why my moms name was not under such  a platnuim warranty and still would like to know what those 4 little letters stood for on the receipt so called took the place of this platnuim warranty all I would like is the 1800 she paid for the non exist warranty to add when my moms car was in for a repair the my moms name did not exist with this platnuim warranty

The purchase and sales signed by Miss [redacted] stated both the vehicle cost as well as the trade-in value. She was also given the opportunity to back out of the deal after being informed of our error. [redacted] also gave Miss [redacted] the option to NOT sign any paperwork until the following day to take 24 hours to think it over. There was no pressure applied to move forward. The contract stated 72 months at the interest rate earlier stated. Miss [redacted] never signed a contract that stated 0% at a payment of $340 per month at any time through the process.

I do not understand that someone can lie via about all these warranties and what they cover under all these warranties and spoke to my mom the other day and she was unaware that the warranty was 1800 because she was told that it was a thousand and would have never purchased this option if it was 1800 dollars

That is incorrect. I signed the papers and purchase agreements under the assumption that I would be paying $340 per month for five years at 0% APR.You cannot make the monthly payment the entire basis of the negotiation and then change the monthly payment after papers have been signed and claim that I had full knowledge of purchase amount. I believe the entire reason that the dealership would only discuss the monthly payment with me during negotiations was to misdirect me from the actual purchase price of the vehicle and the price I was getting for my trade in. These are predatory sales practices.

This customer spoke with me, [redacted], Customer Relations Manager not the GM. Customer was not lied to. Salesman do not discuss extended VSA's. That is discussed in the F&I office with a Financial Services Manager. All the paperwork that [redacted] signed clearly states 72 month/100,000 mile platinum VSA. Route 44 Toyota does not now, nor have we ever offered a 10 year warranty. When [redacted] was at the dealership it was never stated that she did not have a warranty, it was that the wearable items that she had the problem with (drive belt and brake pads/rotors) were not covered under this or any VSA. We did offer a refund for the remaining portion of the VSA if [redacted] was not happy with it. No further action will be taken by the dealer at this time.

Customer felt we should not have run her credit. We wrote a letter to the credit bureaus to remove the inquiry from her report.

While some points are valid with me getting the best rate it was NEVER disclosed to me that a hard inquiry will be done and no knowledge of my info being sent to numerous banks was not said to me. If I had known I would have gone to my own credit union but I called Toyota financial and was told to call Route 44. If it meant to see so many inquiries and yes they do affect you as there are many inquiries. Getting a better rate is great but not disclosing to the customer you have waiting for you outside is unacceptable.

Please add your rejection comments below. You are not credit advisors and I know what I can see on my report you have unfair practices and needs to be Disclosed by each and every finance person they are the ones closing the deal. I will be taking this to legal review as I know for a fact this is unfair practices you the business need to inform each and every customer of your company pulling the credit numerous times.

There was a miscommunication as far as the term went. It was however, explained to Miss [redacted] before signing contracts that the term was in fact, 72 months at 2.89% and not 0%. The agreement she signed prior to sitting with [redacted] was a purchase and sales that had the price listed at $24,022....

That price never changed. There was never a contract signed stating 0%. That would've resulted in a payment of $388 as opposed to the $340 for 60 months. [redacted] explained this and gave the option multiple times to back out of the deal if Miss [redacted] was not comfortable after the mistake. [redacted] then spent roughly 40-50 minutes with Miss [redacted] as she decided to purchase an additional Vehicle Service Agreement. There is no further action the dealer can take at this point.
