Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The Dealership states that they provide a Warranty for days that covers the Engine and the Transmission I had not had the car for days and the problem was with the Engine thereby making them responsible I was never told that the price of repair would be percent my responsibility Again, since the car had not been in my possession for a total of days the responsibility of all repairs lie with Auto max by their own statement (day Warranty) I am asking for a resolve of full payment of all repairs done within the first days after I purchased the vehicle
Sincerely,
*** ***

*** *** had someone else service this vehicle, then it broke down on her. We Route Automax offered to take a look, or inspect her vehicle at no charge if she could bring or tow the vehicle in. No response from Erica at this time..*** was also at Route Automax when this
conversation happened

Route Automax offers a warranty of days or miles (whichever comes first) this warranty covers engine and transmission only. this also states the it is 50/parts and labor, that means the customer pays half of the repairs. The customer needs to realize that when you purchase a car you have a responsibility to take care of any addition problems, if any at all... The only thing she did was call the dealership 4-months after purchasing her car, yelling and screaming that we sold her a bad car. Sounds like *** doesnt know how to maintain her vehicle and/or take notice when it has a problem and drove this vehicle till it quit, furthermore, *** never gave us the opportunity to try to help, meaning she requested for us to tow and repair her vehicle at our expenseThat was not going to happen. *** need to take responsibility of owning a use car, which would be maintenance, service checks, safety inspections, oil changes, fluid levels, or the most important would be a purchased inspection, prior to buying a vehicle

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/17) */
WE DID NOTIFY [redacted] THAT THAT WE WOULD CURE THE THE PROBLEM OF VEHICLE PULLING SLIGHTLY WHEN SHE PURCHASED THIS 2014 CRUZE , SHE DID HAVE THE 8000 MILE VEHICLE INSPECTED AT PEP BOYS, AND APPARENTLY IT HAD A BENT TIE ROD THAT WAS OVER LOOKED ON...

INSPECTION.... AS OF 06/17/15 THE CAR IS IN THE SHOP GETTING THE BENT TIE ROD REPLACED WITCH WAS PROMISSED FROM THE START... ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT [redacted] AT XXX-XXX-XXXX THANK YOU
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They did fix my tire rod and had a scheduled alignment completed as of 06/18/2015. It's obvious there were a couple of other problems which were discussed with this dealer after the [redacted] inspection, however those repairs were not made as I still have a continual bumping noise under the problem tire we have been dealing with. I initially explained to them that the professional inspection notated, I needed ball joints/or bearings, a control arm, a tire rod (now repaired), an alignment (now completed), and a driver side tire due to chunks missing from the current one. They didn't deem it necessary to fix the other areas of concern. Therefore I will schedule yet another professional inspection at the same [redacted] so I know exactly what hasn't been done. I feel a need to get the final repairs fully completed at a professional shop so I know everything has been completed. My safety is an issue with this matter as I've stated to them I will be traveling far down south and back alone sometimes at least once per year. If a bearing or ball joint disconnects, then it voids any other repairs that have already been complete and I'd end up with the same fate. If this makes it easier on them for me to get the repairs fully complete, I can subsequently send them the bill.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2015/05/05) */
Yes I am satisfied with their response.
