Route 66 RV Park Reviews (6)

I am very sorry to hear that Mr*** did not have a pleasurable stay at our RV Park. We strive to do everything possible to ensure our RV campers enjoy the park and the shower/laundry facilities. I have investigated this incident thoroughly and it seems as if Mr***'s older RV may
have contributed to the problem. The first days of his weekly rental went fine and there were absolutely no issues On the third day, he dumped his sewer line and whether there was an large quantity situation or an incorrect connection with the unit (the manager noticed that Mr***'s sewer line was not fitted correctly into the sewer pipe), Mr*** neighbor's RV began backing up. The park manager moved his neighbor immediatley and asked if Mr*** wanted to move. He refusedThe park managers immediately cleared the back up and found paper towels in the line. Mr*** was informed that paper towels should never be flushed down the sewer line and his response was that he always does that at RV parks and hasn't had a problem and that may be, but after he leaves a park do the managers have to deal with what Mr*** left behind in the sewer? After Mr*** left the manager re snaked the line and found paper towels and shop towels left in the line even after he was asked not to do that. Mr*** did not have a neighbor at that point so...There were no issues in the RV site prior to Mr***'s arrival and there haven't been any issues since. That RV site has been rented several times since his departure and we have not had a plumbing problem with those campers.Mr*** stayed at the park for the entire time he paid for. He did not leave any earlier due to "sewer issues" and I don't feel he is entitled to a refund

Complaint: 1***
I am rejecting this response because: It's utter ***None of this is trueI never dumped anything but gray water since my rig doesn't have a black water tankIt started backing up as soon as I started to dump at which time I closed my valve and informed the managerPaper towels in gray water are a physical impossibility even if he did mention it which he didn'tHose was connected properly with correct connectionI was never offered an alternate site

I am really sorry you feel this way.? The park managers are a caring couple who have been with us for awhile and have shown they are willing to work with everyone.? I stand by what the managers told me had happened.? It seems that we have a he said/he said situation and that is a real shame!Maybe if you had decided to leave earlier than anticipated or talked to them at the time about getting some money back...? But you did stay with us for the allotted time, left without a word and now want ALL of your money back.? I don't think that is fair to a small business.? In all of the time we have owned this park we have never had a Revdex.com complaint.? Our campers enjoy the park and many of them are returning customers.Again, I apologize to you if you feel you did not enjoy your time with us.? I wish you the best of luck in the future.? ? ?

I am rejecting this response because: It's utter [redacted]. None of this is true. I never dumped anything but gray water since my rig doesn't have a black water tank. It started backing up as soon as I started to dump at which time I closed my valve and informed the manager. Paper towels in gray water are a physical impossibility even if he did mention it which he didn't. Hose was connected properly with correct connection. I was never offered an alternate site.
