Review: We found this business online, and were told we could buy his email list for all of Honolulu for $850.00 and that he would guarantee that 90%or more of the emails were good, and valid. We asked him how he could guarantee it, and we were told he could because they came from a reputable source. He told us he he would lower the price to $800 so we would buy. He did NOT lower the price. He charged us the full amount of $850.00. We then tried to import the emails into Constant Contact, which he told us WOULD accept the emails in bulk. They DO NOT accept 80k bulk emails at one time, First lie. We then imported 5000 emails, and sent them out....only 345 emails of the 5000 were good....and he told us that 90% would be good. BS. We were then shut out of Constant contact not able to use their service anymore, until we deleted all of the 5000 emails we put in there, because so may, almost all, of the emails were returned, they said this was a SPAM email, which is illegal. Basically we were lied to, to get us to buy a product that we cannot use. He told us the only credit we can get is replacement data...there is no more data in all of Hawaii he can give us though, and he admitted that to us! So how can he replace data, with NO DATA?Desired Settlement: I want a full refund. NO EMAILS were ever sent out, and this whole process is a scam, does not work, and they should not be allowed to sell something that does not work and is illegal. Besides the fact that there is NO replacement data he can provide, to fix the problem, as he gave us all the data he already had...I just want a refund.

On 8/28/2013 [redacted] of Discount Furniture Warehouse contacted

our sales staff and inquired about a Honolulu County opt in email address list.

Our staff advised them of the availability and quoted them a discounted price of

$850. [redacted] asked about the deliverly rate and was told 85%+ and that all

bounced emails would be replaced. On 8/29/2013 they requested a payment form

that also outlines Route 72 Systems Terms of Service. They signed and returned the

signed form and on 8/30/2013 the product as described and under the terms of service

was delivered.

On 9/26/2013 [redacted] contacted our agent regarding some concerns he was having

with Constant Contact. He claim the list had an extremely high bounce rate and that it was

labeled as spam. The bounce rate could not possibly be as high as he claimed and because

the list are opt in they are not illegal in any manner.

Our agent offered to replace the data with more data outside of Honolulu County

which [redacted] was initially interested in as the she claimed they business

throughout Oahu and even other islands.

In addition to offering replacements the agent also offered to consult as to why

they may be having other issues out of courtesy as well. Although we never recommended

the use of Constant Contact as the client states our agent did recommend alternatives.

Mr. [redacted]’s claims are inaccurate and he is unfamiliar with the Can Spam Act / compliance act.

Our agent attempted to assist him but was instead met with threats and Mr. [redacted]

rudely disconnected the call.

As per our terms of service there are no refunds or returns on database purchases.
