Route Discount TireWest Highway 66Gallup, New Mexico 87301August 4, 2015Revdex.comJefferson StNE Suite A Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109Dear Sir:This is in response to your inquiry in reference to complaint ID [redacted] My response is as follows:June 2, customer entered the Route Discount Tire establishment requesting to have tires mounted and balanced on wheels he purchased at a Albuquerque yard saleThe tire technicians mounted and balanced the tires per invoice ***Customer was informed that he needed to purchase TPM Sensors because the old ones did not work with the wheelsThe tire technicians did not know the wheels needed different lug nuts.June 3, the customer returned to Route Discount Tire establishmentHe stated the wheels did not fit rightI check it out myself and noticed that the wheels were from a Toyota Tundra truck and the customer's truck was a Toyota Tundra truckThat is why the lug nuts did not fitI asked the customer where the lug nuts were for his wheelsHe stated it wasn't included with the wheels when he bought themThe lug nuts are a factory item, so I called [redacted] because they are a Toyota Dealter too [redacted] only had five (5) lug nuts which were $each for the wheels.I showed the customer the difference in the lug nuts and gave him at no cost the five (5) from [redacted] The damaged studs were repaired at no cost to the customerThat was all I could do for the customer because he did not have the right lug nuts for the wheelsHe did not purchase the wheels from Foute Discount Tires.Best Regards,ManagerRoute Discount Tires
