This customer called on the phone and asked for a quote on a tune up for his vehicle. We told him we could give him an accurate quote when he brought in the vehicle so I'd see what was in our way to get to the plugs. He brought vehicle in and...

we gave him an accurate quote. He asked if it would fix his check engine light. We asked is that light on. He said yes. We asked if he wanted diagnostic done. He asked is there a charge for that. We said yes. He said no just do tune up. As you can see, we recorded on the ticket that tune up was customer requested for that reason. Customer called back and said his car was still missing. We looked at it for free to make sure our work was done properly, as it was, and found he had another problem. Customer declined that repair, which would have been found if he had not diagnosed his own vehicle and paid for us to diagnose his vehicle.
