We visited Hot Springs, AR., in June, It was very enjoyable During our stay, we received a pamphlet from the hotel, of the "Rowdy Adventures" It consisted of Swamp Buggy ride, ATV riding, horseback riding, and zip lining
The Swamp Buggy was broken down, and we were told it had been broken all year
The horseback riding was good Went for about an hour Horses were very responsive
The ATVs, had no brakes The one I rode, the steering was impossible, it would not turn I was left behind with the groone came back to see My fiancee came back, and we traded He jerked it around to where he could steer, but it was still hard to do that It had no brakes also As we were going through the trails, my fiancees atv ran out of gas, so we doubled up to get back to the office
The zip lining was good, except when we were finished, we had to wait somewhere around min to an hour to get picked up to go back to the office At which time, we were eaten up by misquitoes, and horse flies When they finally got there, their excuse was, they were busy
Last, but not least, they overcharged us Their computer was down, so we asked for a receipt, of which they gave us one, one amount for $30, which was the deposit, and $176, for final payment
When we got our bank statement, they charged us $for deposit, and $for final Our receipt clearly states, $for deposit, and $for final payment, and stated that was the total amount charged When I called about it, they said it was a mistake, and that they sent me an email for services rendered If there computer was down, how could I receive an email? I believe that was a cover-up, because I never received the email And they refused for any type of compromise-all I wanted to pay for what was stated on my receipt I don't mind paying for what I received, but I don't like being lied to Also, again, I have a receipt!
Still trying to work things out, but I would NOT recommend this adventure, because it sure has been one for me
