In response to the letter received ID# [redacted]r. [redacted] was in contact with our office and was dealing with a young college intern who was helping out at the office during the su**er. He was very rude and de*anding, not just to her but the entire office. There was no false pretense...

involved with that *atter at all. *r. [redacted] is one of the *ost de*anding and condescending person that I ever had to deal with. I have been in this business for over 5 years. We have been trying to send his *oney via direct deposit. He has not given us the proper infor*ation in order to do so. I have e*ailed hi* on this and does not respond until weeks later. I have been working with hi* and Bank of A*erica to get the proper routing and account nu*bers. The routing nu*bers that he provided where not the one that was needed to get hi* his *oney! As for people getting *r. [redacted]'s check infor*ation, he has no worries about that, he cannot even give us the proper infor*ation to get the *oney to hi* via direct deposit. We are a professional co*pany and very seldo* do I *eet with a person that is as condescending and unreasonable as *r. [redacted]. And yes I did bring the *ilitary into this conversation, being a retired fa*ily *e*ber of the *ilitary, I know how they speak to their solders and that was how he was speaking to *e. They leave information out, change the story, I have spoken to the new tenant and she wasn't aware of the fact that they are holding my deposit until she gave them hers. So my question is what happens if the new tenant breaks the lease, I asked many questions the lease do they keep my deposit. Why would you let a new tenant live under a old tenants deposit. If she is living there under my deposit doesn't that hold my still responsible for the apartment. I'm 1100 miles away from this apartment I did my part tovensure that their property was vacant. They never told me that they would hold my deposit, they said if I didn't find someone to take over my lease than the owner would take my deposit, and sue my for the remainder of the 11 months. I have spoken to this company twice and the second time this new deposit idea is put upon me. I just don't think it's right or justice for this company to change their minds because they felt the need too.

In response to the letter received ID# [redacted]. In regards to [redacted]. We do not sublet our leases. [redacted] was in a year lease with Rowland-Bennett for 137-139 Williams Street in Watertown, NY. Her lease was for one year. She had only been in the lease less than a month and want out...

of the lease. She was told if she could find a qualified tenant to take over her apartment and sign a new lease with Rowland-Bennett LLC, we would let her out of her lease and not charge her for the 11 remain months. She was also told t hat once the new tenant paid the security deposit in full that we would refund her deposit. We do not have to give back her security deposit due to the fact that she broke her lease with Rowland-Bennett LLC. We are still waiting on the new tenant to pay the remaining security deposit.
