Regards,
This information is a false statement of the truth. We talked only of sending out a technician to evaluate the two systems and I specifically asked Mr Rodriquez to provide me a quote via email as I was comparing 3 companies regarding price and online reviews. Since he went ahead and completed the job without permission, I feel that he simply is trying to force the job onto me as a consumer in order to make a sale. I still had one more company that I was going to reach out to, but never had the chance. The weather was cool enough that I knew I had the entire week to conduct my 3 company comparisons prior to generating a written contact for the job. This much money spent at one time is a major purchase for me and I would never move forward without written bids...it is not only unprofessional, it is also a high risk for consumers.[redacted]

Again like I did before I apologize for any misunderstanding on my behalf and I'm sorry you feel as if I try to force a sell on you. I don't and will never do business like that I made a bad judgment call that's all. Please don't let me stop you from getting a third or forth quote I assure you that the price I gave you was fair and probably less expensive than the the next company. If all I wanted was to take advantage of you because you are a woman as you said several times already and you feel that strong about it you can have the unit. I understand you are a teacher and I just want to say you taught me a valuable lesson. Thank you and I'm sorry if anyone has taken advantage of you just because you are a woman.

Sent: Wednesday, May 03, 2017 11:03 AM Subject: ID [redacted] I received an email from [redacted] to reach out to [redacted] After introducing myself I asked if I could help her with her AC needs. She asked if I could give her a quote to replace a condenser coil that was condemned by another...

company. She had a quote from them but that she didn't feel comfortable with them. I told her yes if she could just give me some information from the quote she had from them. She agreed.  I asked for the size of the condenser coil and the the type of refrigerant. She said it was 3.5 ton condenser and she didn't know the refrigerant type. I asked her if any brand was ok or if she had to go with what they had quoted her (York).  She said she would prefer to go with the York because her father told her that it was better so that it would matched the inside unit.  I asked her for a few minutes to get her the quote and she said ok. After a few minutes I quoted her $2550.00 to replace the condenser coil and labor. She stated " I'll go with you because you are a few hundred dollars less". The quote she had from the other company was $2850.00.  I said ok but I would still need to get my technician there the following day just to make sure nothing was needed. And if something else was to be needed I would let her know before we did anything. She agreed. When my technician arrived to her house he checked the equipment and determined that the unit inside did not need to be replaced. But that the unit inside and out side didn't match. The unit inside was one brand and the unit outside was another brand. The unit inside was 4 ton unit and the outside unit was 3.5 unit. I asked him to call the customer and let her know that nothing else was needed and that we were going to replace the condenser with a larger size to at least match the inside at the same price even though it's more expensive. After several failed attempts to reach her by my technician and her tenant I made the decision to just replace it.  I went against my better judgement but the tenant said she is a teacher she's probably not able to answer so I felt good about doing the job and not have any issues. She's a teacher it's the start of a very warm week,  I told my tech just get it done and if for whatever reason she's not happy we can just install the old unit back. Once the job was completed again he tried to reach out to her but was unable.he waited about 45 minutes and I decided for him just to leave and that I would try to reach out to her to let her know the unit was installed and in service and to collect payment. I called her but didn't answer, I emailed and said, "Replaced AC condenser. Can you please call me to make payment!" Her replied was "What are you talking about? Did you replaced our entire outside unit?". "Yes.. the condenser coil for $2550.00 like we talked. 5 year warranty." The next morning I called her and she answer. I told her we were done with job and would like to make payment. She said she was going to have her father go by the house first and that she would call me later. She said nothing that would led me to believe that she was unhappy with us I actually thought she was pleased. That evening she called me and very upset and wanting to know why we did it , that we should have done it , but when she called I was in the middle of something and couldn't really talk to her. I asked her if I could call her back she said, she said I was just trying to take advantage of her because she was a woman, I apologize told and asked her  if she would like I could get her old unit back on but she said no and again she said that I just wanted to take advantage her because she was a woman.  I felt bad because I didn't get a chance to explain myself before she just hung up the phone. Once I finished with customer I was with I called her back and she picked said something and just hanged up the phone again. My last attempt to reach out to her again was by email but she never replied back..  this is was my email to her, I'm sorry I couldn't really talk when you called earlier I was in the middle of something. Not sure where the misunderstanding happened. I honestly thought you agreed to replace the unit. When I told you the condenser coil was going to be $2550.00 and you said I'll go with you because it was a few hundred dollars less then the quote you had. I told you I was going to have a tech go by your house just to make sure we weren't going to need anything more and nothing more was needed. The email was going to happen if I thought it was best to replace the entire system not just the condenser as the previous service company quoted you. We tried calling you but had no luck. I do apologize for any mistake we made. I hope you reconsider your position.  Thank you, Manuel [redacted]  Zero Degree Refrigeration  713-818-4296
