Review: Mr. [redacted] was the contractor brought into my vacation home in Bethany Beach, DE [redacted] to renovate 3 bathrooms and a kitchen for which I paid [redacted] in Millsboro, DE in advance. As a result of [redacted] bringing Mr. [redacted] on the job, I contracted separately with him to complete an addition to the same house for which I made progress payment in a timely fashion. Not only was Mr. [redacted] totally untimely with the delivery of the renovated bathrooms and kitchen as well as the addition pursuant to the two contracts, but his work was grossly negligent, which required me to pay more to have corrections done to the addition as well as experiencing water damage as a result of his poor workmanship, but I had to negotiate tirelessly with [redacted] to provide me with a second contractor to make repairs to the terrible work that Mr. [redacted] had performed with respect to the bathrooms and kitchen. I have numerous emails with Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] reflecting the extent of the problems as well as pictures.Desired Settlement: I want my complaint to be docketed and maintained by the Revdex.com so that other people who may wish to do renovations on their homes will have this information available to them prior to making a decision about contracting with Mr. [redacted].Please have Mr. [redacted] explain in detail why his workwas not only untimely, according to the contracts, but was so shoddy that much,if not all, had to be redone by [redacted] or by another builder who I paid, in allof the areas upon which he worked (including kitchen, 3 bathrooms and theaddition attached to the master bedroom), especially, but not limited tothe absence of flashing to prevent water damage in the master bedroom,which occurred, and in the absence of insulation in the master bathroom, amongother less than acceptable work throughout the entirety of his services at [redacted]
