I am sorry that [redacted] is not happy with the installation of the his supplied garage door, but with a frame that is not level it will cause the door to either look crooked or sit crooked. I did not want to go into detail about he verbal abuse that [redacted] did to our technicians because I did not feel this was the right place to bring it up. But since [redacted] has taken his complaints to social media and has started bashing Door Boy and personally attacking my employee's by name on social media sites I figured I should bring it up in this reply. [redacted] was yelling and degrading my tech's at the site on the installation and my tech's tried staying as calm and explaining to him the situation. It was shown to [redacted] at the site what was wrong and what was needed to be done to fix it. There is nothing I can do with the price of the installation of the door, he was quoted the price and agreed to it. The issue with his door frame is something outside of the installation of the door and we can quote him a price if that is what he would like?Thank You,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:"We gave him a price for installation, without checking out the site by a sales person. " This is true and it is their decision or may be standard practice. The person who delivered the door had discussed with me how I would install the door should I choose to do so. He did check my frame and other things and said it should be not be too difficult to install and suggested to prepare some 2x4 wood for mounting the spring."On May 20, 2016 Door Boy arrived at his residence, he was not home only his wife(?) was home and did not speak English." This is half true. My wife speaks English. She works in the local school district. I don't know how they got that idea that my does not speak English.Upon [redacted] arrival at home it was discussed about the garage door frame not level and it was explained to him about what would need to be done to resolve the issue with his frame.I did not claim my door frame is perfect. What they did not do correctly is that they installed the door off-centered, which is independent of the door frame. (See photos: on the left side you can see the metal strip while the right door the metal strip is completely behind the moulding. Again, I am not blaming Door Boy for whatever my door frame condition is. What I complaining is that the installation was not done right such that the door is not centered with respect to the door frame, which is obvious from the photos. Regards,

On May 19, 2016 [redacted] called our office requesting price to install his garage door that he had purchased and had at his residence already. We gave him a price for installation, without checking out the site by a sales person. On May 20, 2016 Door Boy arrived at his residence, he was not home only...
his wife(?) was home and did not speak English. Upon [redacted] arrival at home it was discussed about the garage door frame not level and it was explained to him about what would need to be done to resolve the issue with his frame. There is absolutely nothing that Door Boy did at this site that caused the door frame to be the way it is and we cannot be held liable for this issue.Had we done a site check prior to installation would we have found this, possibly?
