Review: The company failed to honor a verbal commitment to provide refunds, exchanges, or credit
Roy did masonry work for me in the last week of September 2014. In the process, the fill line to my pond was cut by his men. This caused over 700 gallons of water to drain out of my pond. He agreed to have the line repaired. I held back $200 of the final payment for this repair and we both agreed that when the final billing came in, we would settle it either way. I sent the bill for $253 for the service call and repair to him on 11/11/14. I asked for payment of the remaining $53. I never got any acknowledgement from him. I sent another email on 12/1/14 also to no avail. I sent the final notice to him on 2/15/15 informing him that this was still outstanding and that he never replied to my previous attempts to get this paid. I told him he had until 2/20/15 to provide payment otherwise I would escalate this. He emailed me back the same day saying he would send payment to me no later than Thursday of the next week (2/26/15). As of today’s date, I still have not received payment.Desired Settlement: I am asking for the $53.00 that is owed to me be paid.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. Yes a check was placed in my mailbox and it cleared. Paying what you owe isn't childish, it is the right thing to do as a responsible business owner. Thanks Revdex.com.

Review: In October 2013, Roy Targia Masonry installed a paver patio and a drainage system in the rear yard. The drainage consisted of two downspouts and a patio drain emptying into a dry-well that was constructed. I initially had reservations about the drywell being big enough to handle the water from the downspouts and was told by the foreman that it was plenty big. A few weeks after the completion of the work came the first rain that challenged the new drainage. The patio drain was backing up and a large puddle continued to form on the patio. This caused us great concern as we just had the carpet replaced in our downstairs living room because of insufficient drainage. I was forced to cut off the downspouts from going into the ground and diverted the water towards the driveway. I immediately called Mr. [redacted] and advised him of the issue (this was in November). Soon the winter came and Mr. [redacted] said he was unable to repair the work and that he would to so in the spring. Because of the insufficient drainage, a section of pavers sunk into the ground where water was pooling on the walkway. In March 2014, Mr. [redacted] responded to my house and advised that the hole obviously wasn't big enough to accommodate the water and that additional work was to be done for an agreed upon cost of $2,800. I asked when this could be done and he responded, "May." Upon contacting him in late April, Mr.[redacted] said he was very busy and would try to schedule me in. Since then, I have called and texted Mr.[redacted], and he has now failed to call me back. In my last voicemail to him (2 weeks ago), I asked that he at least fix the work that he had already done, to include: fixing a crack that re-appeared on a retaining wall that he repaired, re-laying the section of pavers that have sunk in, and re-pitching the pipes that lead to the patio drain, as it does not drain properly when water runs into it. As part of the contract for the work, a 2 year warranty was included on pavers/drainageDesired Settlement: To correct for the drainage issue by re-pitching the pipes. Re-lay pavers that have sunk in and repair the crack in retaining wall.
