Dear Revdex.com, ? Piedmont Psychiatric Services is here to serve the public with their behavioral health needs.? As with any business we have protocols that must be met.? Our main goal with a new patient is to be sure our patients’ issues are ones that our psychiatrists can treat.? ? For this reason we must have medical records prior to scheduling an appointment.? Our intake coordinator has talked with Mr [redacted] several times to let him know we do not have the records requested.? As late at 8/16/2016, Mr [redacted] called and stated he would get the records to us.? ? We also have a letter from his previous psychiatrist, Dr [redacted] stating that Daniel was being discharged from their practice and that he would be happy to forward records to another provider when Mr [redacted] told them who that was and had signed an authorization to release records.? That letter from Dr [redacted] was dated 7/28/2016.? Not sure how the records were sent on 4/11/when Dr [redacted] letter was dated 7/28/2016.? ? We will be happy to review the records and determine if we can treat Mr [redacted] when we receive them.? He is welcome to get them and bring them to our office? Thank you? ? Sincerely, ? ? ?
