Account management is a customer responsibility.Additionally, on February 12, 2015, the complainant manually renewed the domain name registration for an additional one year term via an online transaction hours after the automatic renewal had already been processed. The transaction amount was also $and an order confirmation containing details was sent to the complainant by email. On April 4, 2015, Mad Dog Domains was notified the complainant had disputed a transaction through their issuing bankThe issuing bank revoked payment for the manual renewal transaction of the domain, pending the outcome of the dispute. This chargeback removed the funds from Mad Dog Domains paid for the domain renewal. Due to this, and per our terms of service, the domain name in question was repossessed, and the associated promotional hosting package was subsequently canceled on April 9, 2015.RESOLUTION:Mad Dog Domains has upheld its agreements in good faith with the complainant and honored its terms of service Our office has attempted to connect with the complainant to discuss their concerns using the information provided and have been unsuccessful On April 17, the complainant was informed of options to recover the domain in question. The complainant was provided the option to cancel the dispute with their financial institution and provide our Chargeback Department with a copy of their credit card/bank statement showing the $charge reapplied to the associated account to avoid the $administrative fee. Provided the complainant does not continue the payment dispute further, Mad Dog Domains may then reinstate the domain name registration. If the transaction in question remains in dispute and the complainant wishes to reinstate the domain name registration, a $Administrative Fee in addition to the $transaction amount will need to be paid. The complainant has also been informed that a purchase of a new hosting plan would be required and website files restored from their independent backups to continue hosting with Mad Dog DomainsThank you again for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant.Kindest regards,*** ***
