If they had told me in advance they had no intentions of working on my stove, I would not have agreed for them to come to my home I did not understand they charge a fee to show up and do nothing! Why would I pay someone who had no intentions of doing any work on my stove? I would not knowingly agreed to this This is totally unacceptable and unethical Maybe other people will pay you for such shoddy service, but I won't ever again You are crooks! Shame on you for taking advantage of a widow or any unsuspecting customer for that matter I wonder how many other folks you have done this to and gotten away with it? Sad to see such poor business ethics So, no, you are not justified in ripping me off You should refund my money or at least give a discount

I am not sure what the problem is with this complaint The customer was quoted the cost of the service call before we came out, he agreed to pay that amount We did not try to sell him parts that he didn't need or spend a lot of time taking the microwave apart and charging additional labor he didn't need The service call he paid is good for days, if he needed to call back if the microwave stopped working We tried to be as honest with the customer as we could.We do not have a lot of control over what it costs to put a man in a truck on the road to come to a customer house We can only advise the customer what it is going to cost to come to their home for the service call They can then decide to use our company or not.Thank you.Jacob F [redacted] , Jr

labor he didn't need.  The service call he paid is good for 30 days, if he needed to call back if the microwave stopped working.  We tried to be as honest with the customer as we could.We do not have a lot of control over what it costs to put a man in a truck on the road to come to a customer house.  We can only advise the customer what it is going to cost to come to their home for the service call.  They can then decide to use our company or not.Thank you.Jacob F[redacted], Jr.

On April 3, 2017, Mrs. [redacted] called requesting service for her GE range.  She advised us that the clock was not working.  We advised her that we would need to come to the house to determine what the problem was for sure and let her know whether she would need to have the clock...

replaced.  We advised the customer there was a service call of $69.95 plus tax to come to her home to make sure of the problem. When we got to the home, the clock, which also controls the oven, was bad.  We advised customer that we would make an effort to obtain the part and prices and give her a quote of what it would cost to repair the range.  We did extensive research trying to find the correct part, unfortunately the part is no longer available from General Electric.  We then did more research and found a company that could refurbish the part as new.  We contacted the customer and advised them of the cost to do the repair.  The customer declined the repair as the cost was too high.  We spent considerable time and effort to try to locate the part and find a company to refurbish it, all for $70.00, as $5.20 was tax. We feel that, that was a reasonable amount for the amount of time we spent trying to locate the part.  The customer knew before we came out, what the charge would be to come to her home and she agreed to pay that.  I can’t see where we did anything wrong and we need to be paid for our time and efforts. Thank you. Jacob F[redacted]Economic Appliance Service4156 West Broad StreetColumbus, Ohio 43228614-279-2501 Fax: 614-279-8229
