On *** I called for a taxi to bring my family home after my transmission blew up on a driveI got my *** and *** (with car seat) into the car and they left and then the following took placeThe driver mentioned he was going to take a particular route and my *** told him to just keep going straight as it's the quickest and easiest route to takeHe disagreed and turned the corner and took a route that DOUBLED the distanceIt went from a km drive to a km drive*** *** My *** told her "it's like a race car" to try and calm her down and her reply was "No momwe're going to fly away!"The driver then proceed to beat the traffic with a left hand turn which dumped my ***/car seat halfway over in the back seat as the shoulder belts do not lock in placeOnce they arrived the total of the cab ride was $***!!! The same cab ride along the route is usually just over $***!!! My *** gave him a $** bill and in turn he took it and drove awayNO change, NO receiptI called and talked to the dispatcher (who was very nice) once I was done dealing with the tow truck and even he was completely shocked about what had happened and said the computer showed a $** cab rideHe said he was going to speak to the driver right away, apologized, and said the manager would be calling me the next day and the I should be compensatedThat was days ago!!! I don't even care that much about the money but more about the fact of my family's safetyThis driver is obviously skimming off the top and if the manager was notified he obviously doesn't care enough about his customers or the way his drivers treat themI will be making sure I get a hold of this manager I WILL NOT BE CALLING THIS SERVICE AGAIN!!!
