I Called him yesterday and Today several times, I left messages , I left text messages, I sent him an email, just asking to call me back, His answer means to me that he does not want to solve the problem, If he really wants to solve It's simple just call my cell phone

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.
It is clearly stated on their contract by their salesman, that a moto serra (chainsaw) is included in the shipment along with the other items mentioned in the original complaint. We verbally asked the salesperson, ***, when he was in our home if we could send a chainsaw and he said, "yes, absolutely!" I did not read the small print on the back, as the salesperson (who I would assume to know everything listed on the back in small writing) would know those restrictions by heart. That being said, SO's response does not address the other items listed in the original complaint. New *** shoes, new perfume still in the box and original packaging, all totaling over amount of requested refund. There was a small makeup bag with a paddle lock on it and that was broken off and contents of that small bag (jewelry) was completely gone. Upon delivery they did not mention or give any evidence of an issue with the Brazilian government. If this is actually what happened, and I doubt that very much, they should have informed the recipient of the box upon delivery or at the very least to me on one of the numerous occasions I called them, as they NEVER called me. They guarantee insurance coverage of $50.00, please see small print on back of original contract. I am again requesting a total refund of $as they did not perform per contracted terms. And relayed advertising when they had THEIR salesman tell both me and my husband that we could send the chainsaw and proof of that is the fact he wrote it on yellow contract

Dear Mr*** ***,We are sad to hear what happened , the truth is , this container where was your belongs went to a very specific survey by *** *** ***, in this case they open all the boxes and put in the floor, when they put back it on the boxes, sometimes they change
the place and your belongs go to another box.We asked the agent (in *** ***) to send us a list of what was missing, to try to minimize your loss, but we never got this list.Please if you can send us the list to : ***@soexpress.com , defenitely we can do something, also our CEO will call you personally by Wednesday Jan 14th to explain to you what happens and see the best way to solve your issue.Best regards,S.OExpress

I am respectfully requesting a full refund of the amount it took to send the box, $US dollars. I am sure you can understand that I will not be a repeat customer of this company. The contract had written on it "MOTOR SERRA" which we all know at this point is a chainsaw. Why would you agree to send a box with a prohibited object in it if you knew in advance that it is a prohibited item?? AND then why would you not inform the recipient of the box of it being opened by customs and items seized??? I am not satisfied with the business response and have demonstrated unfair and illegal business procedures. Please advise

Ms***, sent a Box to Brazil with our Company (freight order(contract)attached), she read the contract and agreed with all paragraphs as anyone can see on the contractShe sent a brand new Chainsaw according to her own statement, that is very clear on the contract that no new items should be
shipped under the risk that Brazilian Government could held, in this case we as carrier do not have any liability or control, because Brazilian customs have sovereignIn the same contract is very clear about it and was agreed by the customerOn the International Rules of Rotterdam agreement (attached) the carrier is not liable if something will be held by any government.We called Ms*** on the date that the chainsaw was held and we explained to her, she did not believed usAttached is the term of retention by Brazilian GovernmentThis complain should not take effect according with the contract that Ms*** signed with our company

Unfortunately nothing can be done with Customs at this time, and the contract has customer's initials in each paragraph saying it was read. Again as a good faith we can offer 50% discount on the customer's next shipment.

The business owner claims that they tried to get in touch with me, and maybe he did, but I never got any messages.  I appreciate his desire to resolve the issue in a friendly way but now he states that I need to pay a fee that I never agreed to and was not aware of.  At this point I just want my money back since it has been over six months that I am trying to deal with this.  He can keep the drone if he wants, since it seems the lawyer took care of it without my agreement.  Otherwise he can proceed to send the item to its destination.    Regards,

As I have already admitted, NO I did not read the small print on the back of the contract, as the salesperson who was in my home said he was verbally going over all of the rules and regs with me. Once again, he NEVER informed me new items could not be sent.  Does this even exist?  That being said, OK. I understand Brazil has their own rules and regulations on taxes.   Does this mean my items are being held for payment of tax?   If so, how much is the tax and how can I pay it? if not, why?  If not why was I not informed of the tax being owned upon delivery of the box? Do you really think that I would want to send another box with this company?  No, I do not want 50% off another box, as I would not use this company again if you paid me.  I want full refund of the amount paid to send the box or instructions on how much tax is due and how I can pay it and release my items. Please advise.

I do not think the customer read the contract well, is not because was a chainsaw that was held by Brazilian Authorities, it's because all items were new, and is very clear on the contract that the items needs to be used to get waived import taxes. According to the contract the penalty to ship new items is U$ 1,000.00 and we did not charge the customer. As a good faith we can offer 50% discount on the next shipment.

Mr. [redacted] sent a drone that is not legal to send to Brazil without legal requirements, customs in Brazil held the Drone,  after we hired a lawyer in Brazil we got the drone released, We called Mr. [redacted] several times, and he did not call us back, the drone is there awaiting to be...

deliver, but Mr. [redacted] needs to pay the fee. We ask Mr. [redacted] to contact us anytime this week and we can solve this issue friendly, if he had answered our calls no complaint needed to be done.

Express” and I, we have spoken over the phone, he apologized for the two delivery guys that threatened to call the cops for my mother after she stated that most of the stuff inside of the box delivered did not belong to me.[redacted] also stated that customs in [redacted] did a thorough investigation in the container where my box was shipped in. He said that customs agents in [redacted] open the boxes but sometimes they put stuff in other boxes, he offered to check if any of mymissing stuff could be in these other boxes, but I needed to send him a list of the missing things.I am trying to track down the owner of the photo album my mother found in my box, the photo album contain his parents and his full name and the university name where he graduated in [redacted], although I do not have any hope that I will ever see my missing stuff again but it would be nice to return the photo album to his owner and any of the other stuff that do not belong to me to the proper owner(s) as none of it has any value to me or my family.[redacted] mailed me a check of $390.00 as a refund of the amount I paid to his company to deliver my box to my parents’ house in [redacted].
