Review: Contractor doesn't follow through with agreement. He is very unprofessional and yells at me when I ask him when he will finish the job.My sister and I have made several calls to him via phone and he signed a letter stating he will resolve and finish the job as he agreed upon initially, however he worked for 2 days and complained he didn't have money and didn't more to complete the job. Unfinished job, garbage is in neighbor property as well as mine for 2 weeks. Took money for job and never returnedSupporting documents attached:1. Contractor's agreement2. My letter to contractor's attention to complete job3. Copies of checks cashed and paid to contractorHOME IMPROVEMENT AND CEMENTING OF INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR NOT PERFORMED AS AGREED. AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS THEN HE COMES BACK, AFTER CONTRACTOR GETS PAID, HE NEVER RETURNS AGAIN. GARBAGE AND DEBRIS IS IN BOTH MY YARD AND MY NEIGHBOR'S YARD.[redacted]###-###-#######-###-####DCA ID#: [redacted]Desired Settlement: REFUND FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED BY CONTRACTOR. $5,000.00 PAID AS OF 11/**/13. SERVICES CONTRACTOR WAS ORIGINALLY WAS SUPPOSED TO DO NEVER DID. CONTRACT DROPPED OFF A SINGLE MAN TO DO THE WORK IN MY BASEMENT AND OUTSIDE FRONT YARD, ON 8 OR 9 DIFFERENT OCCASSIONS. I DO NOT MIND PAYING CONTRACTOR $100.00 FOR THE 9 DAYS OF SERVICES, ALONG WITH CEMENT BILL FOR FRONT YARD AND BATHROOM SINK, WHICH SHOULD NOT TOTAL MORE THAN $1,250.00.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Royal Construction & Painting, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted].

[redacted], never contacted or answered any phone calls. Royal Construction & Painting advertises as SOA General Construction. Company is a General Improvment licensee however he is unprofessional and does not abide by his contractual agreements. He threatens and argues with his customers as well as gives personal excuses of his wife and son being sick. Work performed is not professionally done as company promised, he picks up workers from the local area off the street, as per what he ([redacted]) told me. A certified return receipt letter was sent to company's address and owner ([redacted]) contacted my sister and harassed her on the phone for reporting the matter to local authorities as she had told him. He never returned my calls but called my sister to complain and he was told by my sister that we will take him to court. He says fine take him to court and hung up the phone.
