This is a supplement to Complaint #[redacted]. On June 15, 2016 my wife had another company to give a quote on replacing the A/C unit. She called and had a visit from [redacted] Heating & Cooling. The technician stated that the capacitor that was placed in our A/C unit by a representative of A....

Van Gilder Heating & Air Conditioning was at least three (3) years old and, other than rust, the unit is in good condition. He replaced the capacitor placed in their by a representative of A. Van Gilder Heating and Air Conditioning, with a new one, and everything works fine. It was pure FRAUD for the representative of A. Van Gilder Heating & Air Conditioning to put an old capacitor and when it stopped working, suggested we contact our insurance company for a new unit. Of course, he was expecting to do the work. The representative from [redacted] Heating & Cooling has provided his name and contact information for the Revdex.com if needed. This was a set up from the very beginning and the fraudulent tactics used by the A. Van Gilder Heating and Air Conditioning representative was illegal and any funds he received for his acts are produced by a fraud. We had to spend an extra night without air conditioning because of the greed of one individual. If the funds cannot be returned in full, $268.00, by this Administrative Action.
