We paid Robert [redacted] to review our foundation and to respect to see if the repairs had been done to a journeyman levelI do not believe he did the re-inspectionHe asked me if the contractors did the basement repairsIf he had done the reinspection he would have known the answer to his questionHis report said to add dirt and grade out the yardsThe sellers simply dumped some top soil bags in a couple places near the foundationNo dirt work or grading was doneBut Robert [redacted] stated it was done to a journeyman levelI called and asked how he could say that when there is such a huge difference between grading a yard and dumping some bags of dirt near a foundationHis response was "we just verify SOMETHING was done...not that it was done right"I went on to ask him that is the seller went in the back yard and dug a hole and threw that dirt at the foundation...would he approve that as an acceptable repair?
