Sorry for my tarty reply I was out of the Gym for the last couple of weeks tending to my wife who is struggling [redacted] I have read the complaint and all though I do not agree with the details as described I am requesting that our collection agency do what they can to settle this matter as quickly and as fairly as possibleWe are a neighborhood gym and are looking to make friends for life with our members, not make enemies I must say that prior to a member being sent to collections We call and try to work out a solution to their problem A follow up letter concerning the declined payment goes out the following montha second letter the second month and than a final letter after days explaining since there has been no communication the issue has been sent to collectionsHowever since the member was not willing to work with us to resolve this issue it was forwarded to collections

However since the member was not willing to work with us to resolve this issue it was forwarded to collections.

Once the member stated that the account was paid in full our collection agency contacted us and We investigated and realized that We had the member mistaken with another member with a simuliar last name. We told the collection company that We were wrong and to discontinue all collection...

activity immid. They immid did so. They also contacted the member and apologied on our behalf, and assured the member that the collection activity was not only stopped but deleted. He was assured that no credit bureau or any other agency had been contacted.   This case has been deleted and the ind member will not be contacted again . In closing I am personally sorry about this mistake and hope the member will accept my personal apology

Review: Unauthorized double charge on my credit card effective June [redacted] in the form of $35.There was a second and third unauthorized double charge of $35 on July [redacted] and Aug [redacted].Contract reflects $35 for one person and one guest. The Gym added a second membership without authorization, signature or notification until which I caught the double charge when reviewing my credit card statement. The son [redacted] promised reimbursement as did the father [redacted] on numerous occasion and never did. Requesting an immediate refund of $105.00.Desired Settlement: Requesting an immediate refund of $105.00.

Review: So I was a member of the gym from February of 2014 to February 2015. They claimed I had owed them money from august of 2014 till the end. As I go to look at my bank statements everything was paid in full. The Gentlemen [redacted] who works there does not ever get in touch with me, he gets in touch with my Fiance and states hes collecting for the gym like a bookie would say. She then gave him my number, so we spoke in february which everything was then fine. As of yesterday I got a call from collections saying I owe the gym. He then proceeds to tell me he cant help me and I told him to put me into collections. All my bills were paid on time in dec 2014 I had canceled the memebership with one of there employees over the phone. My issue is this guy will not give me a copy of my contract or anything.Desired Settlement: I want an apology and I want my dues back for the year for putting me in a stress situation after spending the week being sick. I also want collections cleared as if it never happened.
