I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The reason why I do not accept the response from the manager is because they never told me they did a credit inquiry. Furthermore, I reached out to him the day I received your email. He told me that he was sorry his employees need further training. Therefore, I paid the price for their lack of training. The manager promised me he would call me on August 20, 2016 after looking at my file. I trusted him to call back, but just like his employees that did not happen. In addition, he said he would look into why I did not receive my Veteran $500.00 discount. The business does not state the Veteran discount is only for someone buying a new car. That is false advertisement. I will not let this complaint go away until they honor their Veteran Discount. I never signed multiple documents concerning a credit inquiry. I was rushed and the salesman was rushing me through the paperwork. he never said any of the documents was for the credit check. Lastly, I like to add that when I talked to the manager on August 19, 2016, he was rude and put the military down by saying that I probably was given work related tasks that I didn't agree with. I told him I didn't appreciate his comment. I have been in the military for over 18 years and will be retiring soon. It is sad that I have always been willing to put my life on the line for someone who doesn't even respect me.

In regards to this complaint, we have a fully filled out credit application as is required by the lender and the DMV and it was signed in triplicate by the consumer.  We are  required by law to disclose credit scores to consumers if they obtain financing per the “Car Buyer’s Bill of...

Rights” posted on the DMVs website and Capital One requires us to communicate with them in such a manner as to require this type of inquiry also.  The finance manager has made 5 attempts to explain this to the consumer and had numerous conversations with Capital One and the consumer regarding credit issues at the time of sale, so I’m baffled by this complaint.  She is welcome to speak with me directly if there is any more confusion regarding this matter.  [redacted]General Sales ManagerNorth County Hyundai of Carlsbad

Better Business...

Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
I received a call from the General Manager.  He has agreed to have a check issued to me for $695.00.  Once I receive this check I consider this issue resolved.  I have no further complaints toward this dealer.  Thanks for the Revdex.com assistance.  Its all good.  Regards,
