Contract states 1 year warranty on the sod, which needs to be replaced.We contacted [redacted] on 6/14/2016 to get our backyard sodded, we used him previously on our front yard and felt comfortable with him in knowing he would get the job done and it would look beautiful. [redacted] states in his advertisement that he comes out to speak with you personally. He did not come out this time due to him being on another job, but told us he would meet with us to discuss. In the meantime he sent out [redacted] who was new. We set the day up for grading and they were late and didn't call like I requested. The property wasn't graded properly and the rock and extra dirt was thrown over our fence and they missed so it is still on the fence. They didn't clean up all the debris, like leaves ect. [redacted] did not stay to manage the job, there were a lot of miscommunications. They came the next day, with a whole crew. We had asked from the very beginning that they come up with a solution for getting the pallets of sod from the front to the back without ruining our existing sod in the front. They lyed down plywood so it wouldn't leave tire marks to get the grader in the backyard, when the two truck loads of sod was delivered they did not use the plywood and it left tire marks down our whole yard. Come to find out after we were complaining about the job from the very beginning we got the story about the workers that they were all new and had just been hired the day before to complete the job, they left big gaps in between the sod, they weren't putting the sod where we had asked for it to be. So we tried to find [redacted] to speak with him(Project Manager) and he just up and disappeared without telling us. The crew were leaving garbage all over our yard and lying the sod on top of it. The crew were also dipping their heads into our pool and washing their hands in it. We contacted [redacted] and he sent out his wife and apologized. He said our grass in the front would grow back in and he would take care of the guys, they never pulled the garbage out from under the sod or cleaned up any debris. There were several pallets of dead sod that he said would come back to life after watering it and it still has yet to green up. We have reached out to [redacted] on 3 different occasions now. The 1st was June 30th, said he was on vacation,2nd time was July 12th and last time was July 14th. He did the same thing to us the first time we used him and since it was such a small area and it was going into the winter months we chose to let it go. We are not letting this go this time. He told us he would come and look at it and replace it if needed, he also told us that because of all the problems that he would come back out and take care of our weed problem in the winter.Desired SettlementWe would like for [redacted] of Royal Landscaping to come out and finish the job the started, clean up all the debris, replace the dead sod, come back out in the winter to treat our weeds as promised and to be reimbursed For all the problems we have had over this including ruining our grass in the front. It took a lot of time raking and cutting and retraining our grass and you can still tell where they drove over it with heavy equipment. We have a contract and pictures to prove our allegations.More Info Received From The Consumer[redacted] sent us a text message asking for us to contact him and we did yesterday and today.He is not returning our phone calls. We do not want to play games. This is a business and he needs to take care of his customers as soon as possible or we will filing a lawsuit with the courts to be reimbursed.Business Response We are very sorry for the communication breakdown.. We met with customer on 7/22 to discuss situation and we will be completing warranty work on 7/28Consumer Response Owner [redacted] came out and met with us after being very confrontational and disrespectful. We walked the property and agreed on what needed to be replaced. He sent a crew out and they never finished what they started. They said they would return the following day because it was getting late and it was very hot. The crew member was complaining about needing to go to the doctor because he was in pain due to the accident he had the day before with the company vehichle. I sent the owner a text on Saturday asking when he would be able to come back out and finish the job and he simply responded "Please send me pictures". I waited for a response as to when they would be back out. So today Sunday July 31st I asked if he ever received our pictures. The response I received from him was supposedly from his wife stating they were done with us and have catered to us to too much and have lost money because of you. We were told we may want to consider leaving this alone.I have a contact from them for a year warranty. We will provide the Revdex.com with whatever proof they need to blacklist this company from doing this to another family. Thank youFinal Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This contractor and company has a lack of integrity and respect for their customers. They did not come out to my house 4 times and what this contractor is leaving out is the fact that he in fact became rude and aggressive. Falsely slandering your customers won't help you in the slightest. Add that to their list. He got in my wife's face in my front yard in the witness of my neighbor who saw from his window. A grown man should not be acting this way to any customer. Once I defended my wife he backed off. What husband is going to stand by and allow someone to disrespect his wife?? You simply don't treat customers this way no matter how you feel about them. The customer is always right. All we wanted was to have the job done correctly. Contractor wanted to "start over" and offered to replace the pieces in question and the pieces in the front yard from a previous job he did for me a few years prior. Again he offered to replace the front, I never asked for that. I agreed to the front as well. Contractor didn't even finish the front. He left 1/3 of the area he agreed to replace unfinished and his so called crew said they would return the next morning to finish because they had somewhere else to go and the lead had to go to the dr. I still have sections they tilled up in my front yard as proof of his quality work. He brags on all his thousands of customers in which this number changes each time he brags on himself and he claims to have no compliants. People don't want to be bothered with a company like this but if you search the web you will find several complaints on this contractor. If you go to this contractors website it says him or his wife come to every job. This was not the case. He did us no favors and gets offended that his work gets questioned. He has several complaints as you surf the web and they all say the same thing. He doesn't return phone calls or honor his 1 year warranty. When we filed this initial complaint he got rude and said how could we do this to him?? Then sends my wife a text telling her she may want to consider leaving this alone?? That's a threat. If this contractor lost money on this job that's not our fault or problem. This so called warranty of the job which we have a contract from this contractor stating he warrantys his work for a year. The warranty is obviously part of the price. If he would have did the job right the first time and didn't hire a brand new crew the day before you started our job they and us wouldn't have this problem. Bottom line to everyone who reads this, this company is not worth your time. You may want to consider spending more money to get professionalism, no threats, the job done right, not a ruined yard, leave all their trash which consisted of cigarette butts, soda cans, water bottles and not to mention all the trash left in the neighborhood street in front of my house in which I had to clean up. You are breaching your 1 year warranty contract which is part of the price you charged. I now have to fix my yard twice because of this company. Lessoned learned. You definitely get what you pay for. Final Business Response We have done all we can to try to make this customer happy. We have lost $1700 In our efforts. There is no mention in there complaint that on trip #4 we included an entire area of the front yard at no charge. It has gotten to a point to where customer has gotten so rude and aggressive that we refuse to work for them any longer. We have conceded to the fact that we cant make them happy at any cost. How is it that I have over 4000 customers and in 35 years of business I have never had an issue like this. We are very sorry but maybe its not us.

I would not recommend Mr. [redacted] and due his lack of consideration for the client and his inability to honor his warranty.[redacted] installed a patio custom overlay on August 3, 2013. Over the course of 11 months some flaking has occurred on the surface area and some small cracks have become visible. After numerous attempts to call and email him he was scheduled to look over the patio before the warranty expired on 8/2/14 but he failed to show up at the agreed upon time and he never called. I would not recommend Mr. [redacted] and his company to anyone contemplating using this technique to repair a cracked patio due his lack of consideration for the client and his inability to honor his warranty.Desired SettlementI want him to honor his one year warranty and fix the flaking and cracking.More info received from the consumer 2014-07-31Yes, please remove as satisfied as the contractor has repaired the patio to my satisfaction.
