Royal Panda Chinese Restaurant

I ordered food to go. When I got home the order was missing the soup and an eggroll, and I discovered they had charged me for an entree of fried rice when a side of fried rice is included with the special dinner I ordered. The special dinner I ordered, and for which they charged me, includes the soup, eggroll, fried rice and entree. (I had also ordered an additional egg roll and a broccoli&chicken entree. When I called the woman (I was told she was the manager. She's the one who took the order as well and she has worked there for years), she was extremely rude and said I complained too much. She said if I wanted my money back I had to come to the restaurant to buy more food and then she would give me a credit towards that next meal. We do our best to get each order right. In this complaint, the customer claimed that her take-out order was missing a soup and an eggroll and that we charged her for an entrée of fried rice instead of including a small fried rice that is included with the dinner special. When the customer called to complain about the mistake, we offered her a house credit or if she still wanted the items, a free delivery of the food items. She refused and wanted a credit back to her credit card. We informed her that we would be happy to refund but would need her signature and credit card to refund. She said she would not come back to sign the refund. At that point Royal Panda could not issue the credit card refund. As per our policy, if a customer pays via credit card, we only issue refunds as a house credit or as a credit card refund. We do not issue cash or check refunds for credit card purchases. We will be happy to refund this customer, but she will have to come in and sign a credit card refund slip. The total refund will be $12.07 (Spring roll $2, Soup $2.50, Fried rice entrée $6.50, and $1.07 tax).For 20 years, Royal Panda has been a successful business because we always try to make sure every customer has a great experience when they do business with us. We hope our reasonable action will satisfy this customer.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Although their response sounds sweet and nice, the manager who handled this and who I have to deal with is not nice. She was so mean and rude that I do not feel comfortable going into this establishment again and do not even trust them with my credit card information. I understand they want to get paid by the credit card company before they would be willing to write a check for the twelve dollars they owe me, but I am willing to wait on that rather than have to ever deal with them again.
