The job is not done...Wanted to let you know..I finally heard from they buyers this morning..Thank you[redacted]

The facts of this matter are as follows:  We at Royal Plumbing were contacted by Mrs. [redacted] real estate agent as a referral from [redacted]c for repairs that needed to be made to her septic system as the leach field was not taking any water. Upon initial investigation we found the outlet side...

of the tank was broken and not taking on any water at all. We informed [redacted] of this prior to doing any work and told her that we at least needed to bring out an excavator to dig the outlet side of the tank and find out what is going on. We initially told her it would be around $1000 to do this and hopefully that would fix the problem but were unsure until the line was excavated. We then obtained the go ahead to perform that work.   The following day we brought out an excavator to dig that up and uncovered approximately 40' of line from the tank to the distribution box only to find that the leach field was not working and was not suitable for the water table levels. She asked how much this usually cost to repair. I then told her that the average cost for a pump system can be between $6000-8000, but that is only the average cost and we really don't know until we get all the needed perc data and permit information from the County. She told us "whatever the cost is, it just needs to get done,"...We then proceeded with the permit application with Shasta County.   After 5 days the County then informed us that they needed an updated perc test on the property and also needed a Waste Water Consultant for the design of this system. These were both unseen and additional cost that are subject to the discretion of the County. After more than 2 weeks of having the permit information in with the County (the county by the way had been really backed up and flooded with permits to process) we obtained the information we needed to be able to at least start the job. We were given the go ahead from the inspector assigned to this job to at least put the tank in as he was waiting on the Consultant to get them some more information to finalize the permit. Between the weather not cooperating (northern California experienced record rain this year) and the delay in the permit center we were unable to get the job done as soon as we would have hoped. However we did complete the system with permit final as escrow was closing. I did delay in getting the grass seed down, due to complications with other jobs, but was able to get it down and was even in contact with the buyer of the property to let them know that we would be returning to do that. The grass seed was done around the 20th of May and there is a picture to confirm this. As excavations go this was a clean completion to a job of this size and the grass and the sprinklers were told well in advance to both the buying and selling agents, would be a casualty of the job. We even warned that they swing set and trees might need to go as well. As it laid out only the swing set had to go. The seed being spread was not part of the job just something that I told [redacted] I would do as she was very distressed over the whole thing. We always communicated with her and felt that we had a good working relationship with her during this process. She was under a tremendous amount of emotional stress and we understand that this whole situation was a lot to handle especially at this point in her life. She never reached out to us prior to this notice from Revdex.com. She already slandered us with false accusations on Social Media and now this all without even reaching out to us to try to understand this.
