I wanted a local family business so I chose to go with this company Robert is professional and fastHis quote was quite reasonableWhen termite damage was uncovered he proved that he could handle the woodwork as efficiently as the roofing Overall I am very satisfied with the jobHe never cuts corners but keeps his work to the highest standards

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Sir Once again Mr [redacted] is not being truthfulI do not know who was driving the truck and trailer that hit my deckMr [redacted] did not say when he told me of the accident the day it happened, He did say it was his delivery truck or trailer that had "bumped" my deck and he needed to use some of my lumber to free his stuck rig As far as the solor panelI asked Mr [redacted] about them being in his way(The removal of the solor panels were addressed on other estimates.) He said that he would just lower them to the lower roofI was lead to beleive that was the reason his estimate was $more than the other estimatesHis proposal did list other options and repairs that may be required, all included pricesMr [redacted] is the man who took the picture, produced the estimate, sent the pictures to the insurance coAt no other time did he say anything about the solor panels Mr [redacted] did call the Sheriff because I would not pay him until the accident damage to my deck was resolvedWhen I explained the problem with the deck to the Sheriff they left The next morning Mr [redacted] and one worker repaired my deck and I payed him in full I have had no contact with [redacted] since that morning and pray I never do

Dear Sir/Madam; Once again, I can't explain what happened to the Mr [redacted] 's deck I do recall that there were a couple of adult drivers visiting him while I was working on the project I can also tell you this, there were five witness's who saw the ABC Supply material truck getting stuck at the end of the driveway approximately feet from the deck, and that is what I told Mr [redacted] I never at any time told Mr [redacted] that I bumped into his deck, I told Mr [redacted] that the delivery truck from ABC got stuck at the end of his driveway, and we used some of his lumber to get it unstuck Mr [redacted] is once again confused, in fact, when I back up my truck and trailer I always have a spotter telling me how far I can go, and this day was no different You can speak to the manager at ABC Supply in El Cajon 619-447-to determine the legitimacy of my statement Further, when a delivery is made to a site there is always (two) men involved, one in the vehicle and one spotter to make sure they do not hit anything Mr [redacted] is mistaken about the solar panel issue If additional work is requested it is addressed in the initial contract I asked Mr [redacted] what he was going to do about the solar panels on my first encounter with, I told him it would be approximately $if I had to remove them and lower them to the deck below, he said he would contact the company who originally installed them, and have them remove the solar panels I told him it would be better if he did call the company who installed them because they were more familiar with the panel I notified Mr [redacted] of my start date, and when I arrived to start the project I was surprised to see the solar panels still on the roof, I already had the job scheduled and had to proceed with the project, and I did mention to Mr [redacted] again that the extra charge would be $ In as far as the contract is concerned only wood repair costs are listed in the Proposal and Contract, nothing was mentioned in the Proposal and Contract about the solar panels because Mr [redacted] assured me they would be removed, and were suppose to be removed by another contractor at his request, I am a roofing company, not a solar company The Sherriff was called because of Mr [redacted] 's agitated state and verbal threats of assault not because of payment In conclusion, I repaired the deck because of the fact it was the only way I was going to get paid for the services performed, because Mr [redacted] made it clear that he would not pay me until the deck was repaired, and that was the only reason I repaired the deck, because I did not damage his deck Once again, this only became an issue when I mailed Mr [redacted] a Notice of Preliminary Lien Notice that I intended on filing a Mechanics Lien to be paid for the deck and the solar removal If this complaint cannot be dismissed at this point neither one of us can explain the deck damage, maybe the solution is since the deck has been repaired at no charge, Mr [redacted] should at least pay me for the solar panel work that I performed I will not file the Mechanics Lien for the deck or solar panel if I am paid for the solar panel, and I will sign something indicating I waive my right to being paid for anything but the solar panel Can Mr [redacted] in good conscious allow someone to work for free, would he work for free? I run a business I have employees I have to pay, and workers' compensation to pay, not to mention liability insurance, if I did work for free I couldn't run a year business Thank you for your time Respectfully, [redacted] C [redacted] Roofing

To: Revdex.com From: [redacted] Roofing [redacted] [redacted] Drive Santee, CA Re: Customer Complaint#: [redacted] Dear Sir/Madam; This correspondence shall serve as my response to the allegations and complaint Mr [redacted] set forth in his complaint regarding me and my company [redacted] Roofing Before I proceed with my response I would be remiss if I did not state that the allegations set forth in Mr [redacted] ’s complaint are completely false, and in fact, are discriminatory and I consider the allegations to be libel, as the allegations are not truthful Mr [redacted] is incorrect in stating that I delivered material to the roof I do not deliver materials to the roof, I purchase all of my products for the most part from ABC Roofing Wholesale in El Cajon, and the materials are delivered to the roof Mr [redacted] is apparently confused because of the heavy medications he is currently taking What I did tell Mr [redacted] was that the delivery truck got stuck at the end of his driveway, the bumper was stuck and in order to free the bumper some lumber was needed I never told Mr [redacted] that I struck his deck, if I had struck his deck I would have taken responsibility for it, I also questioned my employees about the deck, and they did not bump his deck An issue relevant to this complaint of which Mr [redacted] failed to mention, is the fact that when I first presented myself to give Mr [redacted] an estimate for his roof I noticed he had a solar panel on the 2nd story of his home I informed Mr [redacted] that the solar panel would have to be removed in order to do the roof I told Mr [redacted] that he should contact a solar company to remove the panel, and said that I could remove the solar panel, but there would be a charge to do so Mr [redacted] replied that he would call the company who installed the solar and have them remove the solar before I started the roof The day I started the project the solar panel was not removed so I had to move the solar panel to start the project and complete the project Mr [redacted] refused to pay me for the solar panel work My employee [redacted] told me about the deck and I called Mr [redacted] and left him a message on his telephone indicating that I did receive his message, and he did not return my phone call I must also point out an issue that Mr [redacted] has failed to point out in his complaint that I sent him a Preliminary Notice of a Mechanics Lien, and a final receipt because it was my intention to file a Mechanics Lien for removing the solar panel, and it was my intention to also be paid for the work I did on his deck because I did not damage his deck, and I never at any time told Mr [redacted] that I damaged his deck Furthermore, I have pictures of the deck, and the wood on the deck was rotten from termite damage I left the deck in better shape than it was when I arrived on the project As Mr [redacted] pointed out in his complaint he said he was not going to pay me until I repaired the deck, and I concur that the deck was damaged, but not by me or anyone in my company, when I tried to explain to Mr [redacted] what I did tell him, he was belligerent and called me a **----- liar and told me that he was going to “rip my head off and [redacted] down my neck” I had to call the police to receive final payment for the project because when I discussed final payment with Mr [redacted] he threw me off of his property, and I feared he would assault me so I called the police The neighbors were all coming out of their homes due to Mr [redacted] heightened state In order to get paid on this job I had to repair a deck that I did not damage, and do work that I was not paid for In conclusion, it is my belief that this complaint is solely based on retaliation for sending Mr [redacted] a Preliminary Mechanics Lien Notice I did the work I contracted to complete, and in fact, I did more work than I contracted to complete and did not received payment for all of the work I performed The only recourse a contractor has when they are not paid is to file a Mechanics Lien I have been in business many years and take pride in all of the work I perform, I did not lie to Mr [redacted] and it is terribly unfortunate that this misunderstanding occurred [redacted] Owner- [redacted] Roofing

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Once again Mr [redacted] is not being truthfulI was not home when the accident happened but Mr [redacted] did tell me how it happened not his workersI have not had or visitors in the past monthThat drive is seldom used by anyone never mind visitorsHe ( Mr [redacted] ) told me what happened to the deck and now he thinks he can lie his way out of his responsibilityAs far as the solor panes go I have the written Proposal and contract and the pictures he took of the roof with the solor panels and his word of how the panels would be handledIt seam he thinks his proposal and word do not mean muchI am years old and and brought up to believe your word was your bond we both Know The Truth
