bad bussiness
bought a gmc canyon from this place an from night I took it home hav had issues. malfunctioning indicator light came on night took it home for a p0171 code. theyve looked at it an did multiple things but issue still exists. I was even forced to offer an apology to the bussiness to hav them even look at it at one point. last was their they told me done all they can do to take it to a dealership but hav told me their guy can do everything they can do an now want me to cover the repair at my cost...keep in mind my family has bought 4 vehicles from then in last 5 years an youd think theyd take care of return customers...I could go on an on with conversations between me an this place...heck own mechanic told me if had his garage opened up hed have it fixed but this place will do nothing

RE: ID#[redacted]To Whom It May Concern,I understand that this customer is frustrated, but my response remains the same. She purchased the vehicle almost three years ago. What our dealership can offer in goodwill is to get her parts at our dealership cost to save her some money. If she would like us to take a look at the vehicle to diagnose and or repair the '‘rumble strip” noise, and replace the differential, we would cut her a break on the labor rate for the repair. Our service department labor rate is $70.00 per hour, for her we could discount it to $40.00 an hour. Again, we would obtain the parts for her at our dealership cost.If she would like, she can contact our service department to set up and appointment for us to diagnose the vehicle and quote her a price for the repair. Our service department can be contacted at ###-###-####, option #** She would need to speak, to our Service Manager. Levi.Thank You,Royer’s 322 Motors Danielle Royer Company Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I explained all the things that had to be fixed a shackle for the bed a cv axle , and wheel hub assembly and wheel bearing, pinion seal, valve cover gasket, are not regular maintenace and I had only 16,000 miles in 2 and half years which most consumers dont expect to have to put into vehicle while making payments. and beyond the 1,035. 68 in parts and labor it still needs differential fixed and rumble strip noise. I  would like to get at least parts and labor cost back. or Royers pay to fix what needs fixed at this point.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me to an extent. I took my vehicle in today and the tire pressure sensor issue I was told was a leak around the bead of the tire. This was fixed. The mechanic said that the oil was down a half of quart and he put in a half of quart to bring level to full. There was no discussion about fixing the burning oil when started. He simply stated that his boss needed the information on how many miles I drove it since I purchased it and how much oil it had used. He did check hoses that run to the air cleaner to make sure that there was no oil in them.  He also recognized that the transmission is leaking and he will not be there for 2 weeks. Once the mechanic returns he said that I have to call him to set up a time and they will fix the seal around the transmission pan. As long as the engine is smoke free and the transmission no longer leaks I will be satisfied in a few weeks.

In this complaint, the customer states that she purchased her vehicle in. June of 2013. She has since put $1035 into the vehicle. Any person who purchases a vehicle, new or used has to expect to put money into in to the vehicle over time for maintenance, especially since she has now owned the...

vehicle for two and a half almost three years. She states that the Service Manager has not returned her calls. He has attempted to make contact with her and it has been unsuccessful. The customer is more than welcome to make contact with us again. What we would offer in this situation is to get her the parts still needed at our dealership cost to save her some money. We would not return her money back for her trade, nor money for parts and labor for her repairs that she states were completed on 06/12/2014. If she would decide that she would like us to get her prices on parts, she can contact our Service Manager. Response:

Review: Recently purchased a vehicle from Royers 322 not more than a month ago. After driving the vehicle less than 300 miles, the lights on the dash started flickering also causing the headlights to flash on and off. The vehicle now is blowing blue smoke at start up and is leaking oil around the oil pan. There were also 2 recalls that were not mentioned when purchasing this vehicle. When we purchased this vehicle the low tire pressure gauge light was on. Royer's mechanic was suppose to look at this issue. All that was done was disconnecting the negative battery cable to reset the code. I went to get into the vehicle to start it on March 29th to go to work and it would not start. I had the battery and starter tested and they tested ok. Now all the sudden it runs again. When I called Royer's on March 29th there was nobody in the service department. I was told I would get a phone call first thing Monday March 30th. This phone call was never received. I attempted to call them on March 30th at 12:00 and there was no answer. Royer's mechanic called me this morning March 31. When asking about all the problems that were not disclosed with the vehicle the mechanic tells me that " I can take that vehicle and shove it up my [redacted] I don't care what you do with it." This is unacceptable behavior and there needs to be something done!!Desired Settlement: There needs to be something done with this employee. This is unacceptable communication between and employee and consumer. There also needs something done about my vehicle. I am taking it to another mechanic in fear that Royer's 322 will fix one issue, but cause another. I feel that if I take it to a reputable mechanic, Royer's 322 needs to pay for at least 1/2 of the repair cost. This is all issues that could not go unnoticed if the vehicle had been checked over before sale.
