To whom this may concern: Regarding Revdex.com Complaint filed: Customer Information: [redacted]
[redacted]
[redacted]   ·         Mr. [redacted] states that he received his vehicle back with damage on the newly replaced bumper cover. The...

bumper cover had a very minor imperfection in the plastic and we repainted once to his satisfaction no questions asked. Mr. [redacted] was not in agreement with his insurance company’s policy on allowing the use of aftermarket parts on his 4-5 year old vehicle. Insurance companies typically utilize these aftermarket parts on vehicles that are over a year old and or have miles that exceed 12,000. Although this varies from company to company it is widely accepted and known to find ways to reduce an individual’s insurance premium. These aftermarket parts may have some minor imperfections because they are not made by the manufacturer and are cheaper in price. See Photos attached: Mr. [redacted]s front bumper cover had hundreds of stone bruises and chips prior to the accident and the cover he received was fair superior than what was on his vehicle. The imperfection that was on his bumper cover was minuscule compared to the condition of the cover before the accident. Insurance companies are obligated to pay for the vehicle to be repaired to a pre-accident, in this case they paid for a better than pre-accident repair.   ·         Mr. [redacted] states that he has scratches on the left front interior door trim panel and one scratch on the steering wheel and the vehicle very dirty. This repair was considered minor in the collision repair business and did not require a technician to enter the vehicle or have the interior exposed short of driving it into the work bay or to have a wheel alignment done. The doors and windows were closed as company policy and were only opened to enter and exit the vehicle to ensure that dust or debris will not enter the vehicle. Our company wide policy is to wash and vacuum every vehicle before it leaves and Mr. [redacted]’s was no exception.  Mr. [redacted] did not actually pick up his car at delivery, his mother did and stated many months later that it was dirty. He states 5 months after the vehicle was delivered that the interior trim and steering wheel were scratched. There were a multitude of interior scratches throughout the vehicle in numerous areas from many directions. He picked out two scratches out of many on the left front interior door trim and accused us of causing the damage. I did not (blame) the owner, I stated that the damages were not consistent with the repairs or our repair process and so many months have passed that it would be impossible to prove otherwise. ·         Mr. [redacted] states that the owner (me) did not listen to his concerns. I stood there and listened to Mr. [redacted] speak/complain for 20 minutes before I said anything. I truly wanted to know what his concerns were and determined that his complaints were not warranted. After his demonstration, I simply said (politely) that we are not going to act or pay for his concerns because they did not warrant it. ·         Mr. [redacted] says that I was not privy to his repairs. Our process is very detailed and we keep thorough records of each vehicle repaired. We as a company fix hundreds of vehicle per month and I personally have been in this industry for 35 years. I understand how vehicles are repaired! ·         It is unclear if he is stating that I took a magic marker to cover the scratch. I did no such thing, did not touch or enter his vehicle. ·         Mr. [redacted] states that he was ridiculed and laughed at. There were three people there listening and doing their best to understand the concerns of Mr. [redacted]. No one including me laughed or ridiculed him in any way shape or form. I am a professional business person and have dealt with thousands of customers and have never been accused of what this person is saying.   In conclusion: Mr. [redacted] wants OEM parts on his vehicle, this is a matter between him and his insurance company. We repair vehicles not write insurance policies that he pays for. Too much time had lapsed from the time the vehicle was picked up by his mother to the time he contacted us about the scratches.   Sincerely [redacted] President / Owner
